Job Description This position will oversee production lines and staff to ensure timely and efficient work flow, while meeting finished product specifications. In this role, will also partner with Quality Assurance to ensure quality standards are met, and will track labor and raw product yields. Novel Microdevices is seeking a Laboratory Technician to help manufacture components of a new medical device. Under direct supervision, the selected candidate produces, cleans, and assembles plastic components per assembly SOPs, and performs other laboratory activities and maintenance. You will be provided with production plans for medical testing components and be expected to accurately and repeatably assemble components from delicate parts in a clean room. The technician must pay attention to detail and take ownership of the quality of their work. What Will You Do? * Responsible for performing analysis, design, implementation, and configuration of technology platforms and environments with a high degree of accuracy. Technical Execution: * Conduct assessment, development, deployment, and setup of moderately complex technology platforms and environments. * Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows to support application deployment and operations. * Participate with team to perform analysis, assessment, and resolution for platform defects and incidents of intermediate complexity and escalate appropriately. * Configure, integrate, and maintain the platform/service layer where applications run, ensuring reliability and performance. * Document platform configurations, integration points, and operational procedures. * Collaborate with Software Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers to align application functionality with platform capabilities and infrastructure performance requirements. * Seek opportunities to expand technical knowledge and capabilities in platform engineering, CI/CD methodologies, and DevOps practices. * AI Learning: Familiarize with basic AI concepts and introductory tools, participating in foundational workshops and online courses. * Tech Utilization: Engage with emerging technologies through guided projects, focusing on hands-on experimentation and understanding practical applications. Strategic Input: * Work within guidelines set by team to independently tackle well-scoped platform engineering problems. * Define technical requirements for platform engineering assignments, including enterprise SaaS and PaaS solutions for application development and deployment. Continuous Growth: * Attend introductory seminars and webinars on AI, fostering an awareness of its impact on technology engineering. * Perform other duties as assigned. What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have? Technical Expertise & Education: * Three (3) years of technology engineering/platform management experience preferred. * Five (5) years experience with observability tools and their provisioning. Experience with the following tools is preferred: Elasticsearch (ELK), Datadog or Dynatrace * Domain Expertise - Demonstrated track record of enterprise platform expertise including the ability to understand SaaS/PaaS concepts necessary to do the job effectively, demonstrate willingness, cooperation, and concern for business issues, and possess in-depth knowledge of immediate technology platforms worked on. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. * Working knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Cloud, Network, Database, Server, Storage etc. preferred. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) Technician to join our team. The AI&T Technician will be responsible for hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems for aerospace and high-performance applications. This role involves close collaboration with engineers and technicians to assemble hardware, perform system-level integrations, conduct functional and environmental tests, and maintain a clean, organized work environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment. Where Youll Make an Impact Assemble and integrate complex mechanical and electromechanical systems according to engineering drawings, procedures, and work instructions. Perform fit checks, torque applications, bonding, fastener installation, and precision alignment operations. Assist with electrical and mechanical integration activities, including cabling, routing, and subsystem mating. Support functional and environmental testing (vibration, thermal, leak, or vacuum testing) under engineer direction. Document build processes, integration steps, and test data accurately in accordance with company procedures. Identify and report non-conformances, assist in rework, and support troubleshooting activities. Maintain assembly tooling, fixtures, and test equipment in calibrated and operational condition. Follow all ESD, FOD, and safety procedures to ensure a controlled and compliant work area. Work collaboratively with mechanical, electrical, and test engineers to meet program goals and schedules. What It Takes 2+ years of hands-on experience in mechanical assembly, integration, or testing (aerospace, defense, or high-tech manufacturing preferred). Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Proficient with hand tools, torque wrenches, precision measuring instruments, and test equipment. Experience working in a cleanroom or controlled environment a plus. Familiarity with basic mechanical and electrical systems and safe handling of flight or precision hardware. Strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, and adherence to procedures. Ability to lift 2550 lbs and perform repetitive assembly tasks safely and efficiently. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency (if required by contract). Nice-to-Have Experience Experience assembling or testing aerospace flight hardware or satellite subsystems. Knowledge of mechanical fasteners, adhesives, and torque specifications. Experience with environmental testing, such as vibration, shock, or thermal vacuum.
