Job Summary The UAV Assembler is responsible for hands-on mechanical and electrical assembly of unmanned aircraft systems within the Government Systems production line. This role supports the Team Lead - UAV Assembly by executing detailed build tasks, following engineering documentation, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, works well with their hands, and can follow precise instructions to support day-to-day prototype and production assembly operations. Job Responsibilities Perform hands-on electrical and mechanical assembly of UAV components, subassemblies, and full aircraft builds. Install wiring harnesses, avionics, sensors, servos, payloads, and mechanical hardware. Execute crimping, soldering, routing, bonding, composite trimming, and general assembly tasks. Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, work instructions, and 3D models. Conduct in-process quality checks and report deviations to the Team Lead immediately. Complete build travelers, production logs, and documentation accurately and on time. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment with proper tool control. Required Qualifications * Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs. * Ability to push/pull heavy objects and work with hands for an extended period. * Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors. * Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery. * Ability to work individually and as part of a team. * Requires wearing of respirator.
