What you'll do:
JOB DESCRIPTION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Assembles and builds all non-Marine & Defense sub-assemblies, rotating group, pumps, and motors having close tolerances and critical operating requirements where fitting, alignment, and adjustment are precise.
* Completes all required quality and customer information on reports and documents.
* Must be able to troubleshoot and repair to full operational status, all REO and failed test stand pumps and motors.
* Sets up and/or operates all assembly department test stands without assistance and maintains appropriate requirements. In cases where automated test stands are present, operator may be responsible for the operation of two stands.
* Reads and interprets test procedures to determine if the unit meets all applicable quality and standards requirements. Read gauges as required by the test procedures and transfers applicable/required data to defined quality reports and documents.
* Interpret hydraulic schematics, pressure gauges, strip recorders and test stand "Ñ…-y" plots. Must be able to read and interpret assembly and component prints and component maintenance manuals as may be required.
* Responsible for the cleaning and packing operations required for the rotating group processing.
* Utilizes hand tools in building and testing units. Employs measurement instrumentation such micrometers, venire calipers, etc. to check/verify dimensional assembly requirements as needed.
* Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in all working areas maintaining that area to the highest degree of cleanliness required for assembly operations.
Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* High school diploma or GED required
* Minimum two (2) years of experience performing complete mechanical assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing, military, or aviation environment

SOL Engineering Services, LLC is searching for an Engineering Lab Technician I to execute technical and scientific tasks. Tasks provide specific input into all phases of testing to include preparation, testing, and reporting and may be conducted in an office, laboratory, local test areas and remote field sites that may be out of state.
Responsibilities (Not all inclusive)
Routine testing of materials, field evaluations, data collection, data input, and analysis will be required.
Collecting, receiving, labeling, and/or analyzing samples or substances.
Executing laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
Recording all experimental data and test results accurately and in the specified format.
Ensuring that safety guidelines are always adhered to within the laboratory.
Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
Cleaning, sterilizing, maintaining, and calibrating laboratory equipment.
Will work primarily inside, but some outside travel will be required.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a lab technician.
Requires a high school diploma or equivalency; bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field is preferred.
Must be a U.S. citizen, able to pass a background investigation (financial and criminal) and apply for and maintain up to a Secret clearance.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Must have the physical ability to perform manual tasks which may include heavy lifting.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills as well as the ability to accurately gather and reduce technical data
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and database systems.
Solid Mathematics skills, clear and concise verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
