ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (90%) Patient MRI Imaging Screens patient before exam for any precautions or contradictions pertaining to examination, using two patient identifiers to ensure correct patient and procedure Explains and prepares patients for MRI procedures that will be performed, explaining the procedure, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body for use by physicians in the diagnosing and treating of patient illness and/or injury with minimal amount of supervision or repeats scanned, while providing patient support by talking to patients throughout procedure Adjusts MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed Maintains positive attitude and working relationships with radiologist, referring customers and other associates and peers Follows physicians' orders precisely and conforms to safety regulations to protect yourself, your patients, and coworkers Accurately maintains patient records within Radiology Information System (RIS) Maintains an orderly and clean work area promoting good safety habits for patients and co-workers Maintains ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements Maintains equipment in good working order; cleans and disinfects equipment after each use Ensures compliance with all HIPAA guidelines (5%) MRI Department Support Assists with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades Monitors medical supply inventory and requests supplies as necessary Assists with training of new associates, providing resource and technical expertise, as applicable (5%) Completes other tasks as assigned

    Assembly Technician Job In Verona, VA

    This position is responsible for maintaining electrical and mechanical systems on all automation equipment. (S)he will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems and implementing corrective and preventative measures. Follow all required work safe practices. This would include compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, wearing of all required PPE in designated areas, confined space safety, safe chemical handling, fall restraints, etc. Essential Duties: Repair and maintain a variety of equipment and perform preventative maintenance on distribution center and/or manufacturing equipment Use diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot, analyze and predict upcoming failures Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem areas Operate metalworking machines such as bench lathes, milling machines, punch presses, and drive presses to fabricate housings, fittings, jogs and fixtures Inspect and measure parts to detect wear, misalignment, or other problems Remove and/or replace worn or defective parts Other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Preferred 2+ years of commercial or industrial maintenance experience or experience in a related field Experience with low and high voltage electrical systems Demonstrated understanding of operating principles of frequency drives, servos, electrical and PLCs Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot PLCs, I/O and VFDs Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which may be subject to evenings, weekends and holidays. Must be able to frequently reach up to 31-77 inches.
