What a typical day looks like:
Read and interpret work orders, manufacturing procedures, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and prints to manufacture wiring subassemblies for relay and control panels
Crimp, strip, cut, pull, and bundle wiring according to plans
Ensure wiring is properly labeled and marked
Connect cut wires to components, and routing the wire and cables in an orderly fashion
Ensure quality workmanship of all wires and components
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work area
Complete other duties as assigned
The experience we're looking to add to our team:

The
Aircraft Assembler
position involves assembling, fitting, fastening, and installing various aircraft components such as tails, wings, fuselage, bulkheads, stabilizers, landing gear, rigging, control equipment, and heating and ventilating systems
Maintain a clean work area and work effectively in a team environment.
Follow directions from supervisors and communicate promptly when issues or questions arise.
Drill close tolerance holes and install manufacturing hardware.
Use power tools, including pneumatic and electric drills, rivet guns, and torquing wrenches.
Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Qualifications
Must have experience in the aviation industry.
Must have minimun 2 years of experience as aircraft assembler or sheet metal
Must be able to master the use of pneumatic tools, electrical bonding equipment, measuring devices, and torquing equipment
Must be able to use tools such as scales, protrusion gages, fastener grip gages, calipers, micrometers, trulok gages, go-no-go gages, ball gages, fastener height gages, torque wrenches, pistol and/or pancake kaynar guns, torque screw guns, and understand all calibration requirements
Must be able to pass a plate test.
Must have authorization to work in the USA without requiring visa sponsorship.

POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the safe, efficient, handling, installation and assembly of large, heavy steel components in support of the manufacturing process and testing functions as well as scheduling duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Safely, responsibly and efficiently lifts handles and assembles large parts, tools and equipment.
* Operate a variety of equipment including common manual/pneumatic hand tools, hydraulic torque wrenches, hydraulic tensioning devices, hydraulic presses, steam systems, overhead cranes, and forklift.
* Ensure products are shipped on time.
* Ensure safe working environment and clean work area.
* Assist with mechanical test programs and manufacturing procedures.
* Communicate and coordinate activities with various individuals.
* Travel to and perform field operations at either onshore or offshore facilities, commensurate with experience, including appropriate training to meet site requirements.
* Installation of various test devices.
* Perform other duties assigned by supervisor.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* A heavy equipment manufacturing and/or oilfield services background with at least 2-4 years of experience in the assembly of heavy equipment.
* Read, understand and follow written procedures and mechanical drawings.
* First hand knowledge and experience with both common hand tools, heavy lift equipment, hydraulic torque wrenches and hydraulic tensioning devices.
* Basic understanding of mechanical devices, manufacturing processes and their operation.
* Possess a broad knowledge of good safety practices and an excellent safety record.
* Basic mathematical skills.
* Good communication skills.
* Experience in production or manufacturing environment.
* Strong organization skills.
* Good interpersonal skills and the capacity to work constructively with others.
* Ability to read, understand and follow written procedures and mechanical drawings.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
