What our ASSEMBLER does:
Assembling the components of the job, which may include machining and/or assembling various millwork products such as exterior and interior door units.
Operating machinery that modifies the product (ex. chop saws)
Preparing the product for shipment by applying casing, sleeves, labels, etc.
Inspecting the overall quality and accuracy of assembled product throughout the assembly process
Repairing and disassembling returned or defective millwork to prepare it for resale or return to stock.
Performing routine maintenance on all tools used including cleaning, oiling, checking to ensure proper functioning, calibrating machines, checking measuring tool accuracy, and notifying a supervisor of larger repairs or malfunctions.
Working in a safe manner:
Participating in all safety training and meetings
Understanding and complying with the Company safety policy
TOOLS USED: Include but are not limited to chop saw, table saw, rip saw, hand saw; router, nail gun, screw gun, door machine, various pneumatic tools, and drills.
What you need to have:
High School diploma or GED and one to two years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. Ability to write correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one or small group situations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to perform these operations using weight measurements, volume, and distance.
Might require forklift certification, depending upon branch requirements.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to understand branch and industry standards in identification, measurement, repairs, replacements, and modification of products.

General Summary
An Engineering Technician works in conjunction with Operations, Engineering, and other technical staff to support and enable production, and develop, implement, train, and maintain manufacturing techniques and processes. Responsibilities
Set-up, maintain, and operate equipment, optimize recipes, perform set-ups, and change overs with assistance or instruction.
Assist and train operators with equipment and recipe related issues, with outside assistance.
Perform with direction equipment setups, changeovers, and breakdowns to the product and equipment requirements.
Provides initial response to and diagnostic and troubleshooting of product, equipment, calibration, software, and hardware issues and failures on the production floor by providing hands-on problem solving with moderate to high levels of oversight by designated engineering and senior technical staff.
Support Operators and Engineers in establishing and maintaining high yielding, cost effective processes based on product needs and customer requirements, and reduce scrap and production waste.
With direction and assistance from Engineering, will support the execution of design of experiments (DOE) and data gathering for analysis related to production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final builds; this occurs as needed based on production and resource demands.
Effectively communicate in a positive and cooperative way with any level of coworker, as well as with customers, contractors, and vendors.
Ensure production is complaint with Company policies, operating procedures, quality standards, processes, and task assignments.
Performs additional duties, as assigned.
Serve as a member on cross-functional project teams.
Maintains well-organized and audit ready work areas.
Maintains, trains to, and supports the implementation of technical documentation and generation of DCN's.

Qualifications

Who You Are:
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the packaging and labeling of the finished goods at our cultivation and manufacturing centers.
