As a Production Technician, you will play a vital role in a team of Operations professionals building inflight connectivity solutions connecting aircraft to harnessing the true power of inflight internet to improve how passengers fly and airlines operate. Production Technicians perform functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct in-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. Production Technicians performs in-house servicing and repair of company products at established company repair site or service center. Diagnoses mechanical, hardware, software and systems failures using established procedures. Performs maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products. Prepares reports for analysis of product failure trends and service ability issues. Repair Focus: * Learn, understand, and use the processes and procedures for troubleshooting and repairing products. * Recognize and act accordingly to differences in processes between customer and Gogo owned units. * Able to assemble/disassemble, repair or replace subassemblies and/or assemblies to produce an acceptable product without damage to components or assemblies. * Assist in the testing of customer-returned products. * Assist with the timely completion of quotation and repair phases while maintaining the highest quality levels of workmanship. * Diagnosis, test, maintain, and repair product subassemblies and/or assemblies to produce an acceptable product without damage to components or assemblies. * Inspect and test, per required Manufacturing Test Procedure (MTP) or Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI) to finalize a high-quality product. * Maintains records of troubleshooting and repairs * Operate Test Stations for diagnostic and testing purposes. Applies knowledge of functional operation of electronic units and systems to diagnose cause of malfunction. The salary range for this role is $44,475 - $83,414. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
