PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY RESULT AREAS General Focus: * Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and provide feedback on the production floor. * Collaborate with and contribute to continuous improvement projects. * Recognize and act accordingly to differences between production and rework processes and units. * Understand and assist with any inventory transactions and data recording required for Intelsat's products. * Assist with physical inventory requirements as required. Manufacturing Focus: * Learn, understand, and use the processes and procedures for producing products. * Assist with the timely completion of manufactured assemblies while maintaining the highest quality levels of workmanship. * Demonstrate a basic understanding for electro-mechanical assemblies and corresponding systems. * Assist in the provisioning of products to prepare them for testing. * Inspect and test, per required Manufacturing Test Procedure (MTP) or Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI) to finalize a high-quality product. * Assist with troubleshooting of failed product to determine the failed sub-component. * Assist with maintaining AS9100 production test requirements and certification. Repair Focus: * Learn, understand, and use the processes and procedures for troubleshooting and repairing products. * Recognize and act accordingly to differences in processes between customer and Gogo owned units. * Able to assemble/disassemble, repair or replace subassemblies and/or assemblies to produce an acceptable product without damage to components or assemblies. * Assist in the testing of customer-returned products. * Assist with the timely completion of quotation and repair phases while maintaining the highest quality levels of workmanship. * Diagnosis, test, maintain, and repair product subassemblies and/or assemblies to produce an acceptable product without damage to components or assemblies. * Inspect and test, per required Manufacturing Test Procedure (MTP) or Manufacturing Work Instructions (MWI) to finalize a high-quality product. * Maintains records of troubleshooting and repairs * Operate Test Stations for diagnostic and testing purposes.
