Job Responsibilities: * Accountable for meeting KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) requirements as outlined in the Maintenance, Reliability and Engineering (MRE) Pillar. * Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as outlined in our policies/procedures and processes * Use Lock Out Tag Out, wear safety harness, and other safety protocols when needed to service equipment. * Perform machine maintenance PMs and repairs * Maintenance Break-down elimination * Lead and coordinate activities required to restore production due to unscheduled downtime. * Clean, inspect, lubricate the line, and defect handling. * Relieve operators for breaks and cover positions on the line as needed. * Use SAP for maintenance work orders * Use Machine Centerline Settings to ensure proper product flow. * Lead team to develop and implement shift plans. * Ensure operating procedures are followed by the team. * Support team members to find solutions to complex issues by using Root Cause Failure Analysis and 5 whys tools. * Lead Performance Board Execution. * Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the Springfield QRMP accountability document to ensure a quality product * Participate in the Daily Direction Setting meetings * Perform planning and scheduling as needed * Coach and mentor team members to develop key skills for the role assigned to them. * Analyze trends on results and systems to find opportunities and set action plans to deliver target results. Job Description 6:00 230 PM M F (1st shift) Obtain work order from your lead person. Check the bill of material for description, quantity and parts needed to build the product. Read the routing carefully and report labor against the proper sequence. Review the work order for any special instructions. If the instructions are unclear, ask your lead person or supervisor for clarification. Request a production assembly drawing from your lead person, supervisor or inspector when one is required. Inspect all parts as they are being used. Flanges ( the joint between the body and cover ) must be inspected 100% with a .0015 feeler gage. The gage can go no deeper than 1/8 max. Check for porosity, torn threads, bad paint, missing features etc. Per instructions from your routings, drawings, lead person or supervisor. Lubricate all indicated threaded areas. Remove nonconforming or questionable material to designated areas until a determination can be made. Communicate any problems your having with the assembly ( i. E., bad parts, equipment, fixtures, tools, drawings or unclear work instructions) to your lead person, supervisor or inspector for corrective action. Clear your work area and put all consumable parts in their place after completing each work order. Return special tools, equipment and drawings to where they belong. Use down time constructively: fill your bins with consumable parts, clean your area and be prepared for your next work order or instructions.

JOB SUMMARY Assembles metal products partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor by performing the following duties. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or Controlled documents. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, or other fasteners. Operates drills, hand/air impact wrenches, and hand tools. Produces a completed unit capable of passing final inspection. Other duties as assigned. Precision Component Assembly Technicians use small hand tools, power tools and microscopes to inspect, repair and refurbish medical devices, such as flexible endoscopes. As a technician, you will also perform subassembly. This role delivers superior customer experience by providing timely and quality repairs to meet compliance standards, as part of a high performing team. This role will be based in our Chesterfield, MO Repair Lab, where you will have a dedicated work bench. We are hiring Monday - Thursday 6am to 4:45pm. No previous medical repair experience required!We will train you. Transferable experience may include hands-on repair, assembly, or product testing. Other transferable experience might include small engine repair, cell phone and electronics repair/ testing/ re-builds, carpentry, circuit board assembly/repair, industrial sewing, jewelry repair, maintenance, construction, and automotive repair. What you will do as an Precision Component Assembly Technician: Perform basic to intermediate level repairs of surgical devices and equipment to specifications. dentify problems and use standardized testing procedures, examine and test mechanisms for defects, replace or repair defective parts. Troubleshoot, reassemblesurgical devices and tests assembly for conformance to specifications. Identifyrisks and issues and escalatetimely and effectively. Adhereto Standard Work Instructions (SWI).Become aware of and conformto Company ISO goals and objectives and support ISO requirements. Completeworkplace organization audits and safety observationsper site requirements. Abideby all Company safety, health policies, and procedures. Usepersonal protective equipment, as required. Required Experience: High School diploma or GED 2+ years of work experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience, or 1 year of experience at STERIS; all experience must be verifiable. Relevant experience may include hands-on repair, assembly, or product testing. Other transferable experience might include small engine repair, cell phone and electronics repair/ testing/ re-builds, carpentry, circuit board assembly/repair, industrial sewing, jewelry repair, maintenance, construction, and automotive repair. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times and push instrument carts ranging from 10-150 pounds at times. Must be able to meet flexible schedules with early/late hours and sometimes outside normal business hours including evenings and weekends, based on Customer and business needs. Related certifications in technical or mechanical area, competitive equipment training or related military experience may be considered towards experience requirement. Preferred Experience: Experience with solder, brazing or other fine mechanical applications. Vocational / Technical Degree. Certifications in technical training.
