Job Description: As an Electromechanical AssemblyTechnician, you will be part of the manufacturing team that builds the units we ship to customers. Your work will focus on small, detailed hand assemblies, including electronic boards, mechanical sub-assemblies, and precision optical components that are glued, aligned, and secured on the bench.
Our systems are deployed around the world to support ultra-secure communications and the future quantum internet. Most projects at Qunnect sit at the intersection of optics, atomic physics, and electronics. In this entry-level role, your primary responsibility will be to assemble repeatable, high-quality modules and sub-systems that become the core building blocks of Qunnect's products.
As a salaried employee, you should be prepared to support periods of high volume and tight deadlines, which may occasionally fall outside a standard 9 am to 5 pm schedule. Responsabilities:
· Perform careful, independent bench work on a variety of daily assembly tasks to meet production deadlines.
· Assemble consistent, high-quality components, sub-assemblies, and finished products from assembly instructions, drawings, and build manuals.
· Work with small components and detailed hand assemblies, including: 1) Electronic and electromechanical assemblies; 2) Mechanical fixtures and enclosures; and 3) Optical assemblies such as mounting and gluing lenses, mirrors, and related parts.
· Use tweezers, microscopes, and other tools to handle small parts with care and precision.

· Troubleshoot, repair, rework, and test assemblies as needed.
· Queue and post-process 3D printed parts as part of the build process.
· Identify opportunities to improve Design-for-Manufacturing (DFM) of components, fixtures, and tools.
· Work with product managers and engineers to create and refine build manuals and work instructions.
· Cross-train within the department to learn additional skills and processes.
· Complete other tasks as assigned to support production and operations.
· Follow all safety protocols, best practices, and company policies, including those described in the employee handbook.
Required Qualifications:
· Degree or formal training in Electromechanical Assembly, Electronics Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
· Comfort using basic productivity software, such as MS Word and Excel or Google Docs and Sheets.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Strong mechanical aptitude and enjoyment of detailed hand assembly work with small parts.
· High attention to detail and strong organizational skills for managing components and workspaces.
· Basic experience tracking and communicating project tasks, status, and timelines.
· Familiarity with electronics handling, ESD precautions, and simple electrical systems.
· Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, multimeters, and other precision measuring tools.
· Demonstrated ability to understand how systems and sub-systems fit together is a plus.
· Experience working to high-tolerance specifications is a plus.
· Experience with radio frequency (RF) systems or photonics is a plus.

Position Summary:
Responsible for complex and diversified assembly of a variety of products in which mechanical drawings or work instructions are provided. Intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of a considerable number of parts (involving close tolerances and interrelated factors) are required to complete products, units, or sub-assemblies. Hand tools and usage of machines will be required to perform the assembly. Follows schedule provided by SAP and management.
Position Responsibilities:
Assembles and/or wires complex equipment following blueprints, models, and model prints. Skilled adjusting, fitting, and aligning are required within close tolerances.
Follows work cell procedures or mechanical drawings and product structures.

Is flexible and able to perform many operations on product in and outside of home department.
Uses hand and power tools as required.
Builds harness assemblies.
Light usage of computers to monitor and report job status and component availability. Will need to be able to open prints or work instructions from system and write to excel or SAP databases.
May perform thru-hole PCB assembly.
Performs related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

The Production Technician I is responsible for the aseptic manufacturing of Cresilon's products for the animal health industry. The Production Technician II will be trained in clean room operations, aseptic techniques, and must demonstrate the ability to successfully pass gowning qualifications. The position involves operating simple and complex processing equipment, routine sanitization of cleanroom facilities, and manual cleaning of equipment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of steady progress in a similar manufacturing environment and must possess a willingness to learn all equipment and jobs in the assigned manufacturing and sanitation of clean room facilities as required. Production Technicians are also responsible for the quality of products produced by ensuring compliance with local, State and Federal regulations, including current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
* Perform line clearance of assigned production areas as required.
* Perform equipment set up and disassembly activities.
* Operate production, assembly and testing equipment, including heat sealers, bar code scanners, weighing scales, tumblers, autoclaves, filling equipment, and packaging equipment.
* Formulate, fill, and pouch product in accordance with SOPs.
* Troubleshoot all operating deviations and issues and coordinate with other functions when required.
* Report both machine and operating deviations to area supervisor or designee.
* Perform routine, preventative maintenance on equipment.
* Perform cleaning and disinfection of the manufacturing spaces.
* Perform cleaning and sterilization of manufacturing equipment.
* Perform visual inspection of components and/or product in accordance with SOP's and cGMP's.
* Perform sampling, intermediate, and finished goods packaging as per SOPs.
* Package and ship raw materials for sterilization.
* Perform material receiving, staging, material movements, and material replenishment as per SOPs.
* Transport samples, materials, and equipment between multiple facilities.
* Complete data entry and generate reports for material inventory movements.
* Complete and maintain applicable logbooks and batch record paperwork as required and in accordance with GMP and GDP standards.
* Maintain a clean production environment during shift.
* Report all actual, near misses and potential accidents for further investigation.
* Take immediate action to resolve any near miss situations.
* Assist in investigation of all actual, near misses and potential accidents. Provide information to troubleshoot and take initiative to resolve operational issues independently.
* Assist in project commissioning and validation activities, as necessary.
* Prepare samples or prototypes as required for testing, or other evaluations
* Monitor the plant status and liaise with colleagues of other departments to ensure there is no interruption to manufacturing process.
* Complete all required trainings: Read and Understand (TM1), Computer Based Training with Quiz (TM2), Instructor Led (TM3/TM4), and On-the-Job Trainings (TM5).

FULL-TIME: SOLDERING Technician / Electronics Assembler- Candidate will be assembling circuit boards and utilizing SMT and thru-hole soldering techniques. Candidates MUST HAVE strong SOLDERING background and electrical assembly experience. 1. Must follow standard operating procedures and written instructions which vary by assembly.
2. Operate production equipment; utilize tools to complete assemblies in accordance with operation policies and procedures; strict attention to detail required and documentation of work flows and test results.
3. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs), Job Safety, FDA GMP standards.
4. Complete daily production logs.
5. Communicate with other assemblers, technicians, manager and other department members as necessary; Maintain safe and clean work environment.
6. Assist Manufacturing in repair work.
Qualifications
Surface mount technology operations, fine pitch soldering, rework.
Must be able to work within a small range of motion as the instrument has many small components where soldering and reworking is necessary.
Working under a microscope is a big plus as is prior Medical devices experience.
Successful candidate must possess the ability to work in a regulated environment and work in both team, independent modes and multi-task.
Ability to perform hands-on assembly tasks and also must possess proficiency with tools and related equipment in a manufacturing setting.
Basic reading, writing, arithmetic skills and a familiarity with computers.
Attention to detail and quality of work are required skills.
Desired: 3-5 years of relevant experience in an electro-mechanical assembly production environment required (preferably in the medical device field). Ability to perform hands-on assembly tasks and also must possess proficiency with tools and related equipment in a manufacturing setting.
