As an operator specializing in our surface mount technology line you will be responsible for the set-up, tear-down, and operation of the various machines that build our circuit card assemblies. In addition to low-to-mid-volume production you will be working with engineers and senior technicians to build new prototypes. This position will empower you to complete the tasks assigned at a pace that is comfortable for you within defined timeframes. This is a very detail-oriented role and we prioritize quality above all else.The Mission Solutions and Technologies (MST) business area provides affordable, turn-key command/control, communications, integrated ISR, force protection and security solutions worldwide. Responsibilities
Set up and operation of surface mount technology (SMT) manufacturing equipment. To include: solder paste screen printer, pick and place machine, solder reflow oven, and various support and inspection equipment.
Interpret and work from technical drawings and manuals.
Soldering work on printed circuit boards (PCB), circuit card assemblies (CCA), and follow detailed instructions accurately and consistently.
Completion and finalization of CCAs after SMT manufacture to include separation of PCBs from larger panels, labeling, and possibly small touch ups.
Work with engineers to identify issues with new products and improve them.
Knowledge of proper ESD controls.
Must be detailed and quality oriented, and have a good sense of self-discipline.
Qualifications The Employee Must Have
High school diploma or GED equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience in electronic manufacturing.
Basic understanding of technical diagrams, bills of material, manuals and manufacturing principles.
Experience with the operation of SMT/CCA equipment.
Experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Computer literate with experience in Windows and Office products, and ability to learn new specialized in-house applications as required.
Ability to take instruction and work side-by-side with engineers and advanced technicians to learn new skills.
Must possess good verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer
IPC J-STD-001 and 7711/7721 certifications.
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education and certifications.
Circuit card assembly and rework experience with soldering of both surface mount and through-hole parts.
Electronic component identification knowledge.
Experience with personal protection equipment (PPE).
Able to work in an organized, clean work environment to 5S standards.

Qualifications

An Assembler (I) for Lennox AES at our Reno, NV location plays a crucial role in our production process by preparing components and assembling parts to create our finished products. They follow detailed instructions, blueprints, or diagrams to ensure the accurate and efficient creation of products. They will be responsible for painting, finishing, and/or insulating products.

What We Offer
Compensation:
This is an hourly non-exempt role. The starting pay for this role and market is $20/hour. Factors that may affect the full pay range for employees in this role and market include geography/market and the individual's tenure, performance, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are not eligible for a bonus but do earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).

Eligible candidates must have a strong knowledge and proven work experience with the infrastructure components of SEP and its supporting technologies. They will work closely with other technical professionals, analysts, and engineers to build and optimize solutions, ensuring quality, integrity, and performance. The ideal candidate is adaptable, solution-oriented, and capable of collaborating across multiple teams to support a broad range of technical initiatives. The incumbent, and team, may be involved in every aspect as a part of the technical process from idea generation, analysis, design, build, and support using various technologies and design patterns.
**ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Responsible for one or many of the following tasks: analyzing, designing, coding, testing andimplementingtechnical solutions, as well as providing general production monitoring and support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders across IT, product, analytics, and business teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions that meet organizational needs
+ Monitor work against production schedule andprovide progress updates and report any issues or technical difficulties to leadership on a regular basis.
+ Document technical processes and procedures, and participate in technical reviews and knowledge sharing sessions
+ Collaborate on the design and implementation of with architecture to ensure solution alignment to enterprise goals and standards
+ Perform technical analysis and provide insights to support decision-making across various departments
+ Stay up-to-date with the latest relevant technologies and industry best practices
+ Other duties as assigned or requested.
**EXPERIENCE**
**Required**
+ 3 years of experience in one or many of the following tasks: analyzing, designing, coding, testing and implementing technical solutions, as well as providing general production support, meeting defined scope, target dates and budgets with minimal or no defects
+ 3 years of technical problem solving, solution implementation, team/project collaboration experience
+ 3 years of basic computer science concepts and principles, common operating systems, development languages/scripting
**Preferred**
+ 3 years experience installing, configuring, deploying, upgrading and managing Starburst Enterprise Platform (SEP) with a thorough knowledge of Starburst / Trino's distributed architecture, including coordinators, workers, and connectors.
+ 5 years experience in managing software applications using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) techniques and tools including Gitlab, Terraform, Ansible, Helm Charts, .yaml code, config properties, etc
+ 5 years experience with SEP security features, including authentication using LDAP, Kerberos, or OAuth and Role-Based Access Control
+ 5 years experience with various SEP data source connectors (e.g., Oracle, DB2, Teradata, S3, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc) and their configuration within Starburst.
+ 5 years experience with monitoring, scaling, and troubleshooting SEP clusters.
+ 5 years experience identifying key metrics for Starburst platform health and performance, set up alerts, and analyze logs for root cause analysis.
+ Strong SQL skills, particularly with Trino's dialect and optimization techniques with the ability to analyze query plans, identify bottlenecks, and apply optimizations (e.g., query tuning, resource allocation, caching strategies).
+ Experience with the Google Cloud Platform and it associated services a plus.
