Production Technician at a glance…. Starting pay range $30.79 per hour, plus a .75 shift differential for second shift & a $1.50 shift differential for third shift! Work Schedule *(schedules may vary depending upon departments and shifts)
* 5:00am-5:00pm rotating shift
* 2:30pm-10:30pm (Monday- Friday)
* 10:30pm-6:30am (Sunday-Thursday)
* Weekends and Overtime may be required as needed*
The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Production Technician to work at our facility in Springfield, MO. Ideal candidates must be motivated to work in a team-orientated, fast-paced environment. This position requires individuals to perform duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.

Job Responsibilities:
* Accountable for meeting KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) requirements as outlined in the Maintenance, Reliability and Engineering (MRE) Pillar.
* Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as outlined in our policies/procedures and processes
* Use Lock Out Tag Out, wear safety harness, and other safety protocols when needed to service equipment.
* Perform machine maintenance PMs and repairs
* Maintenance Break-down elimination
* Lead and coordinate activities required to restore production due to unscheduled downtime.
* Clean, inspect, lubricate the line, and defect handling.
* Relieve operators for breaks and cover positions on the line as needed.
* Use SAP for maintenance work orders
* Use Machine Centerline Settings to ensure proper product flow.
* Lead team to develop and implement shift plans.
* Ensure operating procedures are followed by the team.
* Support team members to find solutions to complex issues by using Root Cause Failure Analysis and 5 whys tools.
* Lead Performance Board Execution.
* Accountable for the QRMP (Quality Risk Management Process) system and operational standards as outlined in the Springfield QRMP accountability document to ensure a quality product
* Participate in the Daily Direction Setting meetings
* Perform planning and scheduling as needed
* Coach and mentor team members to develop key skills for the role assigned to them.
* Analyze trends on results and systems to find opportunities and set action plans to deliver target results.

Minimum Qualifications:
* Basic math, reading, and communication.
* Ability to implement maintenance procedures and preventative maintenance work orders without help.
* Basic operation, process adjustments and repairs of the assigned line.
* Ability to troubleshoot issues on highly mechanical lines (timing, alignment, etc.)
* 1-year of experience in industrial maintenance or degree related to industrial maintenance is preferred.
* Ability to lead a team and deliver the targets required. Basic skills regarding situational leadership, communication/escalation, and professional development.
* Ability to use computers for access to multiple computer systems
Physical Requirements:
* Performs bending, squatting, kneeling, sorting, and reaching both ground level and overhead
* Lifts, carries, pushes, and grips objects; climbs stairs
* Routinely pulls and moves up to 50 pounds
* Must possess manual dexterity necessary to operate equipment and disassemble and reassemble equipment.
* Ability to stand while inserting components and do sustain activity jobs.
* Ability to adjust to temperature changes (lower 40s to upper 90s); can be in hot/humid or cool environment depending on assigned job tasks.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Experience with the safe operation of common manual machine tools (lathe, mill, drill press, bandsaw, etc.) and woodworking tools (miter saw, drill press, bandsaw, etc.).
* Experience with 3D printing and laser cutting preferred, experience with waterjet machines preferred.
* Effective interpersonal and communication skills required in order to maintain positive working relationships with a diverse group of students, faculty, and staff.
* Ability to:
* Use a computer for basic office functions: employ email for timely communications; create simple documents with Microsoft Word.
* Work effectively and appropriately with students in an educational setting.
* Assist in training students for shop operations in a safe and proper way.
* Work on or oversee a variety of tasks simultaneously and to consistently meet deadlines.
* Handle stressful situations in a calm, orderly and professional manner.
* Monitor equipment for necessary maintenance (repairs and replacement).
* Monitor material supply and recommend material acquisition to Engineering Department Chair.
* Maintain a standard first aid card, C.P.R. certification, and first aid kit including required supplies.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Occasionally assists in the supervision of student employees in the Engineering programs. Carries out these supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include appraising performance, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.

Job Description
Supports resort operations by performing maintenance tasks, including projects, preventive maintenance, and work orders.
As an Engineering Tech II, you will,
Perform engineering projects, guest calls, blitzes, and preventive maintenance as directed by resort management.
Troubleshoot plumbing issues, make repairs, and replace fixtures and piping as needed.
Diagnose, replace, and repair minor electrical components such as receptacles and ballasts.
Troubleshoot and repair appliances and household fixtures.
Understand HVAC systems and perform basic preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
Repair interior and exterior walls, wall coverings, and ceilings, including texturing, painting, and caulking.
Repair or replace tiles, grout, vinyl, and carpet as required.
Work with pools, spas, and water features, including chemical balancing and cleaning tasks.
Participate actively in procurement and inventory processes to ensure materials and tools are available for work.
Operate resort operations devices and software effectively (HotSOS and other applicable systems).
Communicate professionally through radios, phones, emails, and verbal interactions.
Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks as required by resort management.
Safely use hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered tools required for the job.
Work using ladders, scaffolding, lifts, and appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Follow safety guidelines and practices.
Recognize and identify potential safety hazards on the property.
Communicate and interpret guest needs through positive interactions toward resolution.
Adhere to all CFI/Westgate Resorts policies and procedures.
Always represent Westgate Resorts professionally through appearance, attire, and behavior.
Perform other tasks as assigned by resort operations leadership.
Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in trades and maintenance within a resort or commercial environment.
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
CPO (Certified Pool Operator) license as required by the resort.
Written and verbal communication in English is expected.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work with enthusiasm and focus.
Strong communication skills required to excel in interactions with guests and colleagues.
Ability to be versatile, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
Regularly, the team member must lift, move, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds.
Must communicate effectively with supervisors and resort leadership.
