The Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for assembling complex wire harnesses and mechanical components by interpreting drawings, using manual and automatic tools, and adhering to industry and in-house standards. This position requires hands-on work, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous learning and quality workmanship. Key Responsibilities: Tool Use & Skill Development Learn and apply assembly tools and techniques effectively. Read and interpret technical drawings accurately. Use hand and automatic crimp tools. Install boots, markers, Expando, sleeving, and wrap-around markers. Measure wire lengths using calipers, scales, and tape measures. Operate heat guns with correct settings for shrink applications. Perform soldering using traditional and resistive soldering tools. Participate in ongoing on-the-job training to improve skills, accuracy, and efficiency. Assembly Work Build wire harnesses and mechanical assemblies according to print. Crimp, strip, and handle various wires and components using hand tools. Follow all drawing requirements, general and flag notes, travelers, and work instructions. Comply with workmanship standards (IPC-620, J-STD-001, TE.04-03-training provided if needed). Document work accurately and completely in production travelers.     As a FAA Assembly and Test Tech Level 2 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for assembling and testing components and systems in compliance with FAA regulations.
