Position Overview:
Micro assembly using manual die attach with conductive epoxy, wedge wire bonding and parallel gap welding techniques necessary in manufacturing high frequency RF products.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare components for standard micro assembly.
* Perform rework and repair operations on electronic parts to correct defects and ensure conformance to specifications.
* Follow established Quality Assurance Standards to inspect in process electrical, RF microwave or mechanical components/assemblies by microscope.
* Read and interpret assembly drawings.
* Train, explain procedures and techniques to other assemblers.
* Confer with supervisors, test technicians, engineers and quality to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.

Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
• Inspect and adjust machinery to specification, according to process and blue prints using gauges, micrometer and job specific measurement devices
• Make minor changes to the program to make the burs
• Use grinding machine to sharpen tools (filling diamonds, wheels, electros, etc)
• Ability to recognize quality defects produced by machine.
• Replace fork, holders, load arms, belts and other job specific tooling (I.e., carbide cutting tools)
• Complete accurate and legible reports using basic math for production, maintenance and quality.
• Repair and replace worn or broken machine parts
• Follow SSW safety guidelines (lockout/tag out, HAZ-com, machine guards, MSDS, hand tools)
• Recognize unsafe and hazardous conditions and seek corrective action
• Perform daily clean up at end of shift
• Communicate between the tool room mechanic, operators & manager
Requirements
Qualifications:
• High school diploma and three months related CNC experience and/or training
• Previous experience leading a team in a manufacturing setting
• Strong machinery trouble shooting skills
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Be comfortable with repetitive motion and work assignments
• Experience reading and interpreting blue prints
• Ability to complete work tickets and worksheets
