About the role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and driven Automotive Build Technician to join our team. In this hands-on role, you'll be integral to the prototyping, assembly, and development of cutting-edge automotive systems and vehicles. What you'll do
Assemble prototype and low-volume production vehicles according to engineering specifications

Qualifications

Familiarity with vehicle subsystems including suspension, brakes, drivetrain, and electrical systems
Ability to read technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and CAD prints
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
[Optional:] Automotive Technician Certification (e.g., ASE)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with electric vehicles or advanced mobility platforms
TIG/MIG welding and fabrication skills welcomed
Knowledge of CAN bus systems and diagnostic software
Familiarity with vehicle telemetry systems or data acquisition tools

Role Description

Essential Functions
Operate industrial mixers, aliquot raw materials, work in a fume hood and glove box.
Work with flammable, moisture sensitive chemicals, in addition to working with automated process equipment that operate at a high speed, high temperature, high pressure, and vacuum.
Utilize analytical equipment to ensure quality control.
Operate coating and roll-to-roll process equipment for coating battery electrodes.
Monitor and troubleshoot existing equipment and processes to make a product according to product specifications.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOP's) and other written procedures, and maintaining accurate records of work performed.
Report problems, issues and unexpected observations in a timely manner.
Meet timelines and deadlines consistently.
Complete production documentation, and support transfer of materials to next stage of processing.

Accurately combo/aliquot purified protein solutions into appropriate vials or storage containers according to established work instructions.
Maintain detailed, and timely records of all laboratory work, including aliquoting volumes, lot numbers, and dilution calculations.
Organize protein inventory, ensuring proper labeling, storage (e.g., at specific temperatures), and tracking within Labguru after aliquoting.
Lyophilization and resuspension of necessary proteins.
Performs aliquots in a laminar flow hood for sterile samples.
Warehouse duties:
Maintain freezer logs to ensure accurate protein inventory in stores.
Ensures all new bulk protein lots that are transferred to inventory are organized accurately.
Prepare sample vials for internal departments as requested.
Keeps a clean, organized, and maintained environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Associate degree in business or science required, bachelor's degree in business or science is preferred.
1-2 years of direct lab experience including aliquoting, dilutions, and lyophilizing required.
Logistics and shipping experience in a biotech company preferred.
Must have excellent time management skills with close attention to details.
Must be able to lift 50lb and stand on feet for long periods.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Outlook.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble mechanical systems per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Test methods (TMs), Protocols or Engineering Requests to support Operations, R&D and Quality Department. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Perform all product processing from preparation of raw materials to manufacturing of finished goods.
* Can operate all production equipment.

* Maintain proper documentation for quality and compliance with GMP requirements.

* Complete required document(s) of the product you produce.
* Interface with personnel within manufacturing and other internal departments.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
* High School diploma and preferably 2-4 years' experience in medical devices manufacturing.
* Must be familiar with FDA/GMP regulations.
* Able to read and write English language, work instructions and technical drawings (including schematics), specifications and forms.
* Must be able to use lab equipment and basic hand tools such as microscope, oven, DI water system, sealer, screwdriver, and wrench.
* Must be proficient in using production equipment and computers in the cleanroom.
* Must have the ability to confidently navigate thru QCBD and have an understanding to use QAD Software Systems
Physical Requirements:
* Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
At least ten (10) years of recent, relevant hands-on experience in the area of diesel propulsion and power generating systems.
Four (4) years of experience with US Navy diesel engine applications, specifically FM-Pielstick, FMOP, Caterpillar, MTU and/or Isotta Fraschini.
Three (3) years of experience supporting the US Navy DRS Program. To include experience with the following:
Shipboard Automated Maintenance Manager (SAMM)
Conducting DOCTOR diesel engine performance analyses (DEPA)
Reviewing DOCTOR combustion analysis data and providing technical recommendations to correct out-of-parameter conditions.
Ability to communicate effectively.
