The Senior Asset Manager is responsible for ensuring the overall financial performance of project assets within the assigned portfolio group. They are responsible for leading all business, legal, partnership, financial and public relation matters associated with the project asset portfolio. The Senior Asset Manager is responsible for enhancing the profitability of energy assets and energy infrastructure projects through close collaboration with accounting, regulatory, trading, project development, engineering, and related groups within the CEBs. The Senior Asset Manager will also work closely with project management and business development members as well as project partner representatives.

Responsibilities
1. Serve as contract manager and ensure all contractual obligations with respect to the project portfolio are met, including but not limited to: project financing, power purchase agreements, land lease, property tax matters, warranty claims, insurance management, interconnection agreement, etc.
2. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis of new and existing assets. Act as lead CEB liaison to partners and management committees of project companies. Optimize project performance and enhance asset valuation. Prepare monthly, quarterly and yearly reports for management committee meetings, lender meetings and others as required by project agreements.
3. Establish and lead relationships with key project partners such as lenders, PPA provider, land owners, management committee members, local civic groups, etc.
4. Review project operating reports and documents to ensure production targets are met as well as compliance with all regulatory requirements. Lead reporting cycle to ensure timely, accurate reporting of financial, operational and contractual obligations.
5. Maintain an understanding of accounting rules, valuation techniques and law changes affecting asset value. Actively support CEB teams analyzing asset acquisitions.
Qualifications
EDUCATION:
• Four year engineering/finance degree
• Masters in business administration (finance) or Certified Financial Analyst (“CFA”) preferred
EXPERIENCE:
• 10 years experience in a related renewable energy field, with direct expertise in a financial, energy-related environment preferred.
• Experience with renewable energy asset management
• Experience managing contracts related to large scale energy facilities.
• Budgeting, forecasting, energy industry research, and team building are highly desirable.
• Prior experience with power generation, renewable and gas facilities is a plus
• Demonstrated experience in building strategic relationships with internal and external project partners and stakeholders
