We are looking for someone extremely service oriented; cheerful and articulate, friendly and welcoming, quick to put people at ease, extremely organized and are always looking for opportunities to be proactive with service and quick. They will need to respond to inquiries and requests accurately and timely. Someone confident that enjoys selling a product that they know meets the needs of interested prospects. With a professional demeanor and are neatly and professionally presented at all times. Previous experience in residential leasing or in sales preferred.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Stand and greet everyone who enters the office
Answer incoming phone calls and handle each call professionally whether it is a prospect call, resident, service request, etc.
Welcome prospects to the property, understand their needs, build rapport and present the community as the ideal solution. Uncover and counter all objections and close the sale
Inspect tour route, amenities, models and market ready vacancies daily to ensure readiness for viewing
Acquire and maintain up-to-date and thorough knowledge of the apartment community, local competitors and neighborhood (local schools, restaurants, shopping, recreation etc.)
Help maintain and update market survey monthly
Review lease applications, assist with application verification and notify prospective residents of results
WHAT WE NEED:
1+ years of apartment leasing experience
LIHTC experience, highly preferred
Experience with Yardi property management software, a plus
Bilingual in English/Spanish, a plus
Positive, friendly, and ambitious attitude with excellent problem solving, listening, and deductive reasoning skills
Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with prospects, co-workers, residents, vendors and corporate staff
Excellent customer service skills
Dependable and punctual
Valid driver's license, required
Successfully pass preemployment background check and drug test, required
Desire to learn the requirements of the Property Management industry so that you can be promoted
COMPENSATION:
19-22/hr, negotiable, depending on experience
Monthly renewal commission, new move-in commissions, and bonus opportunities
