CIM Group asset protection associate job description

Serve as an Associate within the loan asset management function of CIM's growing commercial real estate lending platform. The Associate, Loan Asset Management is primarily responsible for ongoing, front-line asset management of construction, bridge and other commercial real estate loans for CIM's various credit vehicles. CIM's credit vehicles currently consist of over $7billion of assets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Work with CIM's internal and external loan servicers to efficiently receive high-quality data and ensure borrower relationships are maintained and borrower requests are processed timely with a focus on creating positive client experiences Coordinate among various CIM departments, including Investments, Legal, Development, Leasing, Property Management and Portfolio Oversight to leverage in-house expertise when conducting analysis Provide research-driven recommendations and analysis with respect to lease approvals, construction draws, rebalancing requirements, asset dispositions, special servicing and REOMonitor asset-level compliance with loan covenants

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES No supervisory responsibilities to begin with. However, strong growth prospects as the platform/team continues to grow.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: (including certification, licenses, etc.) Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate or other quantitative or related fields preferred3+ years relevant experience in CRE Loan Asset/Credit Risk Management. Bridge and Construction loan experience preferred.

Position Summary
Working in the distribution center and retail store environments, the Asset Protection Officer will be responsible for maintain the security and safety of the company premises and personnel, interior and exterior of the assigned location, and, as needed, supporting asset protection needs of the retail locations supported by the assigned distribution center.
