Opportunity: Virtual Service Operations is searching for an Asset Management Lead to join our team and serve as the primary Person of Contact for our client in the management of a PC Lifecycle Services/Desktop Support contract that has multiple onsite locations around the United States. This individual will be expected to understand the solution and scope in detail; and provide technical expertise of Asset Management discipline as laid out in the statement of work agreements. * Become an expert on the PC Lifecycle Services SOW (statement of work) including SLA's (service level agreements) * Regularly participate in client and customer meetings * Interface with client Lifecycle SME on Systems/Process/Architectural discussions * Create the technical solution document plan and flow diagrams in client templates in accordance with the solution by leveraging existing documentation (where it exists) * Document and track issues related to the PC Lifecycle Services SOW, solution and / or scope * Lead the development of process documentation (leverage existing) to client's standard template * Lead Trainer (Train the Trainer) in process and service level agreements * Actively participate in defining access requirements for PC Lifecycle Services by role by Business Unit * Interlock with other Tower SMEs (subject matter experts) to ensure end -to -end linkage of the solution, where applicable Technical Details of the PC Lifecycle SME role include management, organization, and supervision of the following technical standard operational processes such that right processes are developed and maintained by the Asset Management team members to ensure: * Orderly storage of equipment within client build center (depot) * Necessary tasks related to request fulfillment and device refreshes based on client provided processes and tooling * Picking inventory from stock * Image loading in support of asset reuse or break fix activities * Asset tagging * Order, picking/packing of accessories over-box, if necessary * Coordination of shipment carrier pickup * Updating asset tracking information within the client asset management system * Updating ticket status in the RTX ITSM system * Receiving returned equipment from client end users and process as appropriate including: Determining if the device is to be reused or disposed based on decision criteria provided by the client, if able to be reused, performing basic refurbishment activities (e.g., test for functionality, clean device, wipe hard drive) and place into stock, and if device is going to be disposed, wipe hard drive following client defined processes and prepare for pickup by disposal third-party * Ensuring a monthly count/audit of the devices in each depot and storage room is being performed * Ensuring the ordering of limited use software by request is being overseen by someone Qualifications: * At least 5+ years of relevant work experience and skilled in Asset Management * Organizational Skills * Excellent Verbal & Written Communication * Technical Background/Basic Understanding of Desktop Support/PC Lifecycle Services Requirements: * Must be a U.S. Citizen * Must be willing and able to work 100% remote What is Important to Us: * You are an excellent communicator in writing and speaking. * You have the ability to work independently but also value teamwork. * Your problem-solving skills are excellent. * You are looking for a job where performance appraisals occur regularly, and you look forward to advancing your career. * You seek a community of virtue-centered co-workers and clients.
