As a Asset Recovery Specialist , you will locate customers and collateral using various investigative (skip tracing) techniques. All duties must be performed with a high degree of professionalism and integrity while following all applicable laws and regulations. You will manage a repossession queue of approximately 70 accounts maintaining charge offs at an acceptable rate as determined by management.

Pay: From $20.00/hr DOE + up to $600 Monthly Bonus

Schedule: Monday through Friday from 9:30am-6:00pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and perform all daily skip trace activities to locate individuals for payment of debt and recovery of collateral.
  • Maintain and establish new repossession and transport vendor relationships.
  • Manage all accounts that have been assigned to them from the repossession assignment to the transportation of the vehicle to the auction.
  • Completes required applicable paperwork including sending all required Federal and State regulation letters.

Required Education & Training:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Six (6) months office experience or equivalent education and training.
  • Previous collections experience.
  • Strong understanding of skip tracing and systems
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent phone and negotiation skills.

We are currently seeking a Dealer Asset Recovery Specialist to work in our Irving Servicing Center. The specialist will be responsible for processing, organizing, and following up for refunds from the cancellation of aftermarket products (GAP, ESC, TW, etc.). The specialist will work regularly with our network of dealer partners to ensure refunds are processed and received within compliance and in a timely manner. Job tasks will also handle inbound and outbound inquiries to and from dealerships, customers, suppliers, and internal colleagues.
Specifically, you will:

* Review and initiate aftermarket product cancellations for GAP when accounts are paid in full as well as all other product types when an account is a loss (charge-off, repossession, etc)
* Maintain regular follow-up with our dealer partners in the recovery of cancellation refunds to ensure refunds are received as timely as possible
* Organize and track cancellations throughout each step in the refund workflow processes
* Maintain adequate account notation that define a clear and adequate history of actions taken for each account worked
* Establish and maintain strategic and excellent relationships with our internal sales team and dealer network
* Record and maintain tracking of dealer performance related to aftermarket cancellation refunds
* Identify, track, and report out issues or refund delays to be escalated to dealer risk
* Field inbound and outbound communication and answer questions as needed
* Perform all responsibilities in accordance with the company's competencies, compliance, regulatory and information protection requirements
* Maintain expected production and outbound call volume daily
* Ensure that all internal and external stakeholders receive prompt, efficient, courteous, and professional service, including follow through to resolution

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of
* Proficient in MS Office
* 2+ years auto finance experience, specifically with focus in aftermarket cancellation refunds or dealer follow-up/support
* Ability to work independently and as a team member while using critical thinking and sound judgement in decision making
* Strong communication skills interpersonal, verbal and written with the goal of influencing outcome
* Ability to establish and maintain effective and strategic working relationships
* Basic understanding of finance/lending;
* High-degree of organizational skills, sharp ability to learn quickly, and strong overall knowledge of aftermarket cancellation processes
* Experience working in Salesforce a plus

**The Role and the Team**

We are looking for an experienced analyst with Purchasing and License Management background to join our fast-paced, high performing team in Sunnyvale, CA. This individual will assist in building a team within IT to manage licensing and purchasing for the corporate IT environment. + Previous Finance or Procurement experience

+ Work with suppliers on quotes and track Purchase Orders and shipments to completion

+ Familiarity with D365, Zylo, Agiloft, and JIRA a plus
