About Us:
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a Personal Assistant and House Manager. This role involves assisting both of us and our teenage children, with a commitment of 15-20 hours per week. It will include driving responsibilities for the children, so a clean driving record is essential (driving compensation will be provided). The ideal candidate is highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of taking initiative to enhance and streamline our home systems. Given our busy schedules, we need someone who can anticipate our needs, work independently, and handle tasks with confidence and efficiency. While the primary focus will be on personal and home-related duties, there is potential for this role to transition into a business assistant position at our current business for the right candidate. We are looking for the right fit to start as soon as possible.
Role Overview:
As our Personal Assistant and House Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining household harmony and supporting our family's daily and business activities. This role involves working closely with the family. Your responsibilities will include delivering on projects weekly, creating effective systems for home management, and initiating improvements to enhance our living space and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Home Maintenance: Oversee and organize home maintenance tasks, schedule appointments with trusted contractors, and ensure the efficient operation of household systems.
Driving/Commuting Children from Boulder to Thornton Monday -Tuesday (morning and afternoon, Wednesday morning only
Personal Scheduling: Manage personal appointments and maintain calendars for health and home maintenance.
Business Support: Assist with various tasks related to our family businesses.
Efficiency and Organization: Track finances and health trends using spreadsheets and graphs, and identify opportunities for financial efficiency.
Disaster Recovery: Develop and manage a comprehensive disaster recovery plan for various aspects of life.
Family Support: Transport our two children to school three days a week (gas compensation included) and manage other daily responsibilities.
Project Completion: Deliver weekly on the completion of projects, create and implement systems for home maintenance, and take the initiative in improving our living space and quality of life.
Innovation: Demonstrate strong initiative by thinking outside the box, solving problems proactively, and handling tasks independently without relying on detailed instructions or micromanagement.

Position Details:
Starting Pay: $30-32 starting per hour depending on experience level, with potential for growth in both compensation and responsibilities after the trial period. There is room for increase with time.

Minimum Qualifications for GS-08
Specialized Experience: You must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 level in the Federal service that included experience such as:

* Collecting and analyzing data from law enforcement databases.

* Coordinating escorts and transportation associated with deportation or removal activities.
* Reviewing bond cases to determine status and taking appropriate action to continue, cancel, or breach.
Typing Requirement
In addition to meeting the minimum qualification requirements, you must show possession of the ability to type at least 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample, with three or fewer errors. You may self-certify your proficiency in the Occupational Questionnaire.

PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Be part of a team of knowledgeable, compassionate, and helpful allies for clients housed at Valor on the Fax and visitors. As a Supportive Housing Assistant, you will be working under a housing first model and will be expected to use a trauma-informed approach in providing polite and professional physical presence at the front desk to build trust with residents and visitors.
This position will work with the on-site Valor on the Fax team which includes BIAC staff and Brother's Redevelopment Property Management staff to support residents and Resource Navigators. Valor on the Fax is a 72-unit permanent supportive housing building for persons experiencing homelessness who also have a brain injury or related disability.
We currently have two schedules available:
Full time schedule of Friday - Sunday 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.
On call - flexible schedule to cover shifts on as an needed basis
Screen residents and/or visitors needing entry into the building by checking their ID and answering questions/concerns as needed.
Elevate questions/concerns to the Resource Facilitation team and/or Brother's Property Management team as appropriate.
Monitor residents and visitors entering and exiting the property to ensure safety of residents and the building.
Complete incident book entries and other reports as needed before the end of your shift, highlighting areas of concern that the team will need to address regarding resident behaviors or needs.
Understand and implement Visitor Policy
Ensure visitors enter and exit the building within the time allotted within the house rules.
Ensure visitors sign in and out.
Inform residents of visitors' arrival and ensure that residents escort visitors in and out of the building.
Maybe instead it could say: Assist residents in following house rules by providing education and reminders of rules as strategies to keep residents housed.
Escalate lease violations and maintenance issues to the appropriate staff member in a timely manner.

The On-Call Closing Assistant provides file processing, pre-typing and disbursing in support of the closing function. In addition, the Closing Assistant assists in preparing closing disclosures and/or settlement statements, obtains clears title and may present real estate and loan documents when required.
As this is an on-call role, the incumbent will be scheduled as needed and will float to various Land Title offices throughout the Metro Denver area.
What We Need From You
Customer Interaction
Greet customers enthusiastically and professionally, either in person or over the phone, with emphasis on representing Land Title in a way that builds customer relationships and a positive corporate image
Answer customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner; respond appropriately to provide technical assistance when needed
Maintain direct, continuing relationship with assigned customers; take responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty
Participate in department marketing activities which may include attending after hours functions as requested or required
Coordinate daily closing activity to fulfill team responsibility for meeting and exceeding customer closing expectations; continuously communicate about scheduling, work volume, and work assignments
Pre-Closing
Collect property data e.g., payoff statements, tax status, homeowners association status letter, water and sewer status
Obtain clear title by ordering title reports, resolving title defects, satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals; provide a proactive approach in notifying customers of potential roadblocks or issues
Review contract and assist in pre-typing to prepare real estate settlement statements and real estate documents
Assist in preparing and delivering balanced and error free settlement statements for lender approval using FHA, VA, and Conventional lending guidelines
Prepare general and specialized closing documents; organize real estate and lender loan documents in preferred order
Review lender closing instructions for closing conditions, endorsements, and disbursement of proceeds
Closing
Review all closing documents for accuracy in names, address and legal as outlined
Describe lender and real estate closing documents according to Presentation Standards and obtain signatures, collect accurate amount of “Good Funds”, and satisfy title and lender requirements
Post Closing
Claim wires and/or deposit “Good Funds”
Prepare deposits and receipts, process cashier's checks, and void or stop checks as necessary
Balance file; disburse funds and documents according to instructions from mortgage company, payoff lender, title and other appropriate parties
Proof recording documents for typographical errors, signatures, notary, and/or recognize omission of data; record documents with appropriate state/county agency
Other Duties
Assist in training new employees
Maintain communication with other departments for file completion
Perform notarial duties by following the National Notary Association Guidelines
Proficient adoption of closing strategies
Perform other related duties as assigned by manager; overtime may be required at high volume
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Valid Title License or ability to obtain this licensure within 90 days of hire
Valid Colorado Notary Commission or ability to obtain this licensure within 90 days of hire
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $25.50 per hour.
In accordance with Colorado state law, this position is non-exempt and all overtime will be paid at time and a half.
There is potential for an annual employee profit-sharing bonus based upon company performance.

In this role, you would be responsible for directing personnel in the safe execution of the site-specific scope of work items outlined in the contract documents. be able to follow written instructions as well as follow verbal directions as required to perform duties and responsibilities as listed below. Must be able to perform required duties for extended periods of time inside confined spaces, often with breathing equipment required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure that all employees are working in a safe manner and environment. Assistant Tank Foreman are to fulfill all requirements outlined in the HMT Safety Manual, site specific requirements, and customer specific requirements.
• Work well with the Tank Foreman to understand the scope of work and bring to their attention any potential problems and issues. Communication with the Tank Foreman should continue on a regular basis.
• Ensure that all HMT and customer specifications, guidelines, and programs are being followed and documented as required.
• Responsible for supporting the Tank Foreman on managing the field crew in the performance of daily tasks.
• Ensure that work is being performed efficiently with regard to manpower, equipment, tools and consumables.
• Responsible for compliance with all QA/QC requirements including contract drawings and specifications.
• Complete all general site paperwork including timesheets, T&M sheets, and purchase orders.
• Responsible for onsite customer relations.
• Red-line construction drawings as required for approved scope changes. Provide sketches of existing customer equipment associated with our scope (platform connections, ladders, catwalks, and any piping).
• Complete any required HMT Data Sheets (roof drain systems, suctions, seal data, etc.).
• Responsible for the training of crew members in the art of tank building and supporting the Field Tank Foreman are expected to train prospective employees to become Field Foreman.
• Must maintain a positive attitude with crew members.
• Willingness to travel (75%-100%)
Required Qualifications & Education
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of heavy steel industry work experience, preferably in in the AST industry space (Above Ground Storage Tank industry)
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record and POV (personally owned vehicle)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Detail-oriented, Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple jobs concurrently (ability to help support management up to 15 employees).
• Maintain accurate Field Progress Reports.
• Able to give clear and concise instructions to multiple employees in the execution of work.
• Ability to complete all required paperwork associated with safety and QA/QC without assistance.
• Possess knowledge of automatic welding and burning equipment. This would include the ability to run, repair, and train others in the use and operation of this type of equipment.
