* Troubleshoots problems with: Network connectivity; telephone systems to include VOIP; computer hardware; various software packages to include MyID, MAP, MyAccess, Oracle, MyTime, DVSport, and all other WVU sponsored systems; AD controlled accounts; login and password issues; networked and non-networked printer problems; assorted miscellaneous computer and peripheral equipment issue.
* Have the ability to research and order new computers, specific peripherals, adapters or any type of requested devices.
* Must know all Apple Products and accessories.

* Apple DEP knowledge along with JAMF MDM.

* With the guidance of supervisor, will recommend the design and development of improved processes to streamline and improve operational functions within ITS Operations.
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* A minimum of two (2) years of experience involving:
* Technical experience in a computer-related customer support field.
* Configuring PC and Apple computers (installation of software and system).
* Operating multiplatform systems over a LAN and provide support for productivity software.
* Instructing clients on the use of their computer system.
* Technical: must be able to provide advanced technical support for various hardware platforms, operating systems, and software packages (including Microsoft Office and Outlook). Complex problem-solving skills and excellent research skills are required. Working knowledge of Windows and Windows Server systems.
* Must have extensive knowledge of Apple Desktop/Laptop product line, and in-depth troubleshooting skills with their operating systems.
* Must be able to write technical information and/or instructions for the general user population to comprehend, follow and understand. Must have a strong general education and demonstrated command of written and spoken English as well as interpersonal skills to interact with faculty, staff, students and parents in the WVU community to explain concepts regarding how computers and computer applications function within WVU.
* Develop and maintain detailed records and documentation, including: maintenance/error/repair records, development/implementation/performance standards and schedules, system cost estimates and analysis, equipment and software maintenance contracts, etc.
* Develop, implement and maintain University infrastructure systems and equipment. This position manages the delivery of second-level and third-level, on-site, technical support for the Department of Athletics. The services managed by this position directly or indirectly affects functionality department-wide
* Serve as database administrator for the general admission ticketing system, football, men's basketball, women's basketball, and soccer programs video system, the football recruiting software, strength and conditioning department software.
* Coordinate, conduct and implement a wide variety of complex systems analysis, including: database, applications, systems, telecommunications and/or data networking support activities necessary to maintain information technology systems, processes, and projects. Further this position leads the effort to research new technical efforts as they arise.
* Must have ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously and be able to make decisions independently.
* Must be able to articulate clearly and concisely to a wide variety of multi-cultural users. Excellent customer service is essential.
* The incumbent must be courteous, display a positive attitude and a genuine concern for the computer user, focus on attention to detail, work well as part of a team. Given potential for exposure to all manner of WVU data, dependability, and discretion are paramount. Additional requirements; must be able to partner/communicate with other ITS support groups on a knowledgeable level.
* Must be able to set up computers in a network environment, transfer files, and troubleshoot. Also, must have knowledge on how to install user profiles for Windows operating system platforms as well as all aspects of Apple Macintosh technology.
* Must be familiar with network protocols, connecting users to a Domain, and troubleshooting connection problems.
