What you will do:
- Assisting the Farm Manger on a daily basis especially in their absence ( vacation, meetings, etc.).
- Help us achieve least cost production goals while ensuring the safety, health, and care of our turkeys.
- Maintain a safe working environment for all employees by following all safety rules.
- Ensure healthy birds are produced for our customers by following all animal care and biosecurity guidelines and policies.
- Perform position-specific duties as assigned by your supervisor as needed including daily record keeping so computer skills are a plus.
What to expect:
- Work 5-6 day work weeks (40 hours/week), and some weekends.
- Work in various environmental conditions (heat, dust etc.)
- Perform repetitive motions such as twisting, turning, bending and reaching.
- Lift items ranging from 25 to 50 pounds but will vary by position.
