A hairstylist provides beauty services such as cutting, shampooing, coloring, and styling hair, treating and massaging the scalp, straighten style, cut color and weave hair with chemical solutions, and offer clients other hair treatments. They must possess excellent clean lines and sanitation skills and keep the station organize and neat in a professional manner. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide beauty solutions to meet the needs of our guests. They must hold and maintain a current state license.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Be fifteen minutes before your shift.
- Talking to clients and addressing their requirements
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guest, ensuring complete guest satisfaction.
- Cutting hair using scissors and clippers.
- Shampooing, conditioning and rinsing hair
- Providing services such as conditioning, bleaching, permanent waving, tinting and straightening hair
- Drying and styling hair using combs, brushes, straightening irons and any other equipments
- Trimming moustaches and beards
- Advising clients on hair care, recommending products and providing technical assistance

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, LICENSURE:
1. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent work experience required.
2. Current Cosmetologist License required.
3. Experience in a beauty shop setting preferred.
