Ensure the kitchen and dining room areas are clean at the end of your shift, all dishes are put away, tables and counter tops are cleaned off. Plan and implement activities Maintain residents schedule for your shift. Supervise client medication, charting all incoming medications, coordination with nurse and case manager regarding medication compliance. Behavior documentation Incident reports Communication logs Communicate with co-workers and house managers about concerns or activities completed/need completed throughout the shift Maintain required certifications and training Monitor medical needs of the individual(s) Provide behavioral intervention, as needed Serve as a role model of appropriate behavior and social skills in the home and the community Conduct additional services requested by our consumer or their service team that may improve their quality of life, health and safety Qualifications: Bilingual (Nepali and English) required. Required Experience for Life Enrichment Assistant: Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred. Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours. Compassionate towards the senior population. Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team. Proficient in general computer skills. Primary Responsibilities for Life Enrichment Assistant: Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars. Assist the Life Enrichment Director with the overall direction, planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills in the Life Enrichment department. Supports the Life Enrichment Director and Life Enrichment Lead with administrative tasks as needed. Complete all tasks and functions while maintaining a high level of resident safety. Support in proper setup, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and community spaces. Support transportation by attending outings, coordinating relevant administrative tasks, and upholding safety practices. Adhere to and uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook. General Working Conditions: This position entails standing for long periods of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to communicate effectively with others, sit, stand, walk and use hands to handle keyboard, telephone, paper, files, and other equipment and objects. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. This position requires the ability to review detailed documents and read computer screens. The employee will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The work environment requires appropriate interaction with others. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
