Turns out, your chances are better in some states than others.

Our research shows that West Virginia is the best state in the country for Assistants.

The most common schools for Assistants are University of Phoenix, Liberty University, and Michigan State University, and the most common majors are Business and Psychology.

To do that, we looked at the most recent data we have available for the following criteria -- average annual wages, and availability of jobs for Assistants.

We found that West Virginia is the best state for Assistant jobs, whereas Virginia is the worst.
