Nucoat North America, LLC is seeking a strategic and hands-on Color Match Lab Manager to lead our color formulation, quality assurance, and sample development operations. Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
Supervise and develop color lab personnel through coaching, training, and performance management.
Coordinate daily workflows to meet production, R&D, and customer-driven priorities.
Maintain a strong culture of safety, quality, and operational excellence within the lab.
Color Formulation & Technical Oversight
Direct the development of accurate, repeatable color formulas for customers and production operations.
Review and approve batch formulas, sample matches, and adjustments completed by lab staff.
Lead complex color-matching projects and mentor team members on advanced techniques.
Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
Establish, refine, and maintain color-matching procedures, documentation, and lab protocols.
Analyze results, validate outcomes, and ensure alignment with specifications and customer expectations.
Drive corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and consistency.
Technology & Equipment Management
Oversee the use of color match software and automated tinting systems to ensure optimal performance.
Manage conversion of manual formulas into automated platforms and maintain formula databases.
Ensure laboratory equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and in good working order.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Customer Support
Partner with production, sales, quality, and customer service teams to resolve color-related issues quickly and effectively.
Provide technical support to customer service and engage directly with customers when needed.
Present results, participate in evaluations, and offer informed recommendations in both formal and informal settings.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical education preferred.
Prior experience in a coatings lab or color-matching environment required.
Demonstrated leadership experience in a lab or production setting.
Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

The facility has been operational for just under a year with strong foundational support in place-including a dedicated phlebotomy supervisor-and is now seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to oversee operations and help scale the lab as testing volume increases. The lab owner is based in New York, so this role requires a confident, hands-on leader who can serve as the primary on-site authority.
Job Summary
The Laboratory Manager will oversee daily workflow, quality systems, regulatory compliance, and technical performance across molecular diagnostics, toxicology, and chemistry testing. This individual will be responsible for optimizing processes, supporting a growing testing menu, and occasionally working the bench during peak times or staffing gaps. Responsibilities
Operational Management
Oversee daily laboratory operations across molecular, toxicology, blood, and urine testing.

Manage inventory, procurement, equipment maintenance, and prevent downtime.

Technical & Bench Responsibilities
Perform molecular testing using the QuantStudio 5 and troubleshoot instrumentation as needed.
Support toxicology and chemistry assays on blood and urine analyzers.
Step in at the bench during high-volume periods or staffing shortages.
Ensure proper specimen handling, workflow continuity, and testing accuracy.
Quality & Compliance
Maintain CLIA compliance, documentation, SOPs, QC/QA programs, and proficiency testing.
Support method validations, verifications, and ongoing competency assessments.
Work with newly added HR support as the lab develops formal benefits and policy structures.
Team Leadership
Supervise laboratory technologists and collaborate closely with the phlebotomy supervisor.
Train new hires and ensure ongoing staff competency and performance.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological, or Clinical Laboratory Science.
ASCP certification preferred (MLS, MLT, MB, or related).
3-5+ years of experience in a high-complexity clinical lab; hospital background strongly preferred.
Experience with molecular diagnostics; QuantStudio 5 experience a major plus.
Familiarity with toxicology and routine chemistry analyzers preferred.
Strong understanding of CLIA compliance, documentation, and quality systems.

About the Role:
Reporting to the Head Compounding Pharmacist, the Compounding Lab Manager will be responsible for daily operations within the compounding labs in the pharmacy. Lab Assistant - Temp

As a temporary Laboratory Assistant in the parasitology Dept. at IDEXX, you will be assisting with some of the many tasks vital to the running of our network of Reference Labs. We receive thousands of clinical samples (blood, urine, fecal samples) every day from Veterinary Clinics, and we run tests on those samples to help veterinarians identify what might be wrong with someone's pet. In this role, you will be helping to sort, tag, and prepare veterinary samples for testing. Every sample you help to move along quickly and accurately in the process means we are one step closer to finding out how or why the pet might be sick. Thanks to you, someone's very beloved pet will get the treatment plan they need - how great is that?

In This Role:
Currently we need assistants in our Sample Management and Gen Lab Departments. This is the area of the lab where the samples first arrive.
You might be unbagging, sorting, tagging, or moving clinical samples around the laboratory.
You may be restocking supplies, such as chemicals or slide trays.
You could be helping to load analyzers with slides of samples.
You might be assisting with inventory counts.
You will be asked to help in out many ways - and your help is needed!
Pay & Schedule:
Hourly rates targeting: $20.25
These are temporary position where you will be working 40 hours / week.
The schedules shifts will likely be 6 am - 2:30 pm Tues - Sat, with a rotating Monday shift
Sometimes during our busy season, we ask workers if they would be able to work overtime, and stay until the work is complete.
The shifts and hours may vary slightly depending on business needs.
Reliable and dependable attendance is an essential function of the position.

Able to meet the physical requirements that go with working in a lab - standing and sitting for extended periods of time, ability to move or maneuver through various departments around the lab, use of hands, fingers, and arms to handle microscopes, pipettes, lab instruments and controls, occasional need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, lift up to 25lb, and specific vision ability - close, color, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
This is a laboratory, so there is potential exposure to biohazards, agents known to cause zoonotic diseases, and hazardous chemicals.

About the Opportunity
Lighthouse Lab Services is representing a large, well-established reference laboratory in the Columbus, OH area seeking an experienced Microbiology Laboratory Supervisor to lead daily operations within its clinical microbiology department. This is a key leadership position within a high-volume, CLIA-certified lab known for its commitment to quality, innovation, and patient care.
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on technical expertise in microbiology, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to oversee staff, workflow, and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day operations of the microbiology section, including bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, and molecular testing as applicable
Provide leadership, training, and performance evaluations for laboratory technologists and support staff
Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and other applicable regulatory standards
Oversee quality assurance, quality control, and proficiency testing activities
Monitor turnaround times, workload balance, and staffing levels to optimize efficiency
Assist in method validation, instrument maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical systems
Collaborate with medical and scientific staff to resolve technical or interpretive issues
Participate in audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, or a related field required
ASCP (or equivalent) certification as a Medical Technologist/Clinical Laboratory Scientist required
Minimum of 4-6 years of clinical microbiology experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical microbiology methods, instrumentation, and regulatory requirements

This position leads the planning, organization and management of the clinical division(s) located at the Central Laboratory. The Central Lab provides services and testing for all 8 of the OhioHealth hospital labs. He/she develops and implements appropriate laboratory policies and practices in compliance with hospital policy and with state, federal and other regulatory agencies. This position establishes and maintains interdepartmental relationships with all of the system labs, key hospital customers, and Outreach clients. This position is responsible for all 4 areas of the balanced scorecard including customer service, quality, associate satisfaction, and financial performance for the division cost center(s) and for the rolled up Metrics of OhioHealth Laboratory Services.

Responsible for daily operations within the technical division/cost center s through effective and efficient utilization of staff and equipment. Plans, organizes and manages all aspects of laboratory testing performed within the section; works closely with campus CLIA director and section medical director to assure operations are compliant with all regulatory agencies;

Technical responsibilities include establishing, modifying and implementing procedures and policies in collaboration with all campuses to assure maximum standardization of practices across the system; Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies including FDA, CAP, CLIA, TJC, OSHA, CMS;

Secures and retains staff of qualified personnel through recruitment, selection, training and motivating. Addresses personnel issue to maintain a productive and pleasant work environment; actively involved in staff development and identifying associates to mentor for succession planning
