This position requires regular evening and Saturday shifts.
This position will begin with training and shadowing to learn makerspace equipment, procedures, and customer service expectations.
Initial training schedule (first few months, approximate):
Monday-Friday: 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM (hours may vary slightly during training)
Projected schedule once fully trained (28 hours/week, not including lunch):
Tuesday-Thursday: 12:30 PM - 6:30 PM
Friday: 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Total Hours: 28/week
What You Bring:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years old.
Experience: Experience with makerspaces, computers, technology, and/or CNC equipment is highly preferred.
Skills: Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and comfort working with patrons of all ages and skill levels.
Ability to Learn: Willingness to learn new technologies and obtain certifications for current and future makerspace equipment.
Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling needs.
