Specific duties and responsibilities of a Production Safety Administrative Assistant include, but are not limited to, Serve as a positive representation of the Select Sires, Inc. Complete a daily trip to the Ohio Department of Agriculture on behalf of the production department. Analyze training needs to design occupational safety programs. Conduct or find resources for mandated safety training. Coach and educate all levels of management and employees on occupational safety regulations. Lead and mentor the organization's safety committee. Oversee safety manual, safety data sheets, OSHA 300 log, and other related programs in coordination with the HR department. Conduct and/or provide required safety training. Provide general guidance, direction, and advice in all areas of occupational safety.
