POSITION SUMMARY:
The Manager, Product Development will be responsible for the production of a specific category cross multiple brands. The Manager, Product Development will be responsible for managing, developing and implementing process changes and best-in-class business methods, tools and information system across the product development teams. The Manager, Product Development will partner closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the goals of the brands are met. The Manager, Product Development will be expected to approach their role with a high degree of honesty while upholding the brands integrity.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Sourcing Lead with all their responsibilities
- Request and track fit/photo and cross costing samples
- Communicate operations and sourcing requirements for the category/categories to internal partners and external vendors
- Manage the milestone dates to the Production calendar to assure deadlines to development and sampling process are achieved within required timeframes
- Partner with cross-functional teams to manage the raw material, color, trims and fit/specification approvals
- Develop a strong, trusting relationship with cross-functional teams and vendors to enforce on-going communication and to build true partnerships and meet goals
- Handle in coming mail and distribute accordingly
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Retail Merchandising, Supply Chain or a related field
- 1-4 years' experience in two or more categories in a catalog or Retail Apparel Sourcing and Production Environment
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and ability to clearly communicate across a variety of time zones a plus
- Problem solving with a high level of accountability
