The candidate will join an expanding group of computational researchers as part of UAlbany's new AI Initiative. The College of Integrated Health Sciences is a joint venture between the New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH) and the University at Albany. The department's partnership with investigators at the Wadsworth Center, the public health laboratory of the NYSDOH, provides an extraordinary opportunity for collaborative research on the frontlines of human health. Faculty benefit from access to world-class resources, including advanced genomics, imaging and structural biology facilities, and state-of-the-art laboratories. Faculty additionally have access to high-performance computing, including a new AI supercomputer powered by 24 NVIDIA DGX systems.
