JOB PURPOSE
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Lead Instructor of Technical Services to join our team in Seattle, Washington.
This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep, hands-on expertise in commercial HVAC/R systems, electrical infrastructure, and building automation/controls. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct training of technicians, and trains and supervise a small cadre of support instructors

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in HVAC/R, electrical, and controls, including 5+ years in a leadership or director-level role.
Minimum 5 years of experience training technicians in technical skills related to their job requirements.
Deep knowledge of commercial HVACR systems, electrical distribution, and building automation platforms.
Proficiency in BAS/EMS systems, digital and analog I/O, and programming for HVAC and energy systems.
Must hold or have held a valid journeyman or trade license in HVAC, refrigeration, or electrical (Washington State or transferable).
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage complex projects, and influence technical strategy.
Experience designing or overseeing technical training programs is highly desirable.
Willingness to travel up to 25% to support field teams and training initiatives.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This is an adjunct faculty position contracted on a quarterly basis. Lecture (theory) credits are compensated at $1,090 per credit, which includes scheduled class time and final exam days, in addition to a per credit stipend based on the high demand tier. All guided practice instructional credits for adjunct will be paid with an additional pay factor of 1.33. Future advancement in base salary, up to the current maximum of $1,640 per credit, is based upon a combination of years of service accrued at our college and professional development activity.
Degree Stipend:
Master's or Doctorate degree stipends are paid on a prorated per credit rate.

Quarterly remuneration for 5-credit lecture class is $6,418.75 - 7,824.65. Compensation is prorated based on type and duration of assignments. Individuals newly hired to Adjunct Professor group at the college are placed at the minimum rate per union bargaining agreement. Certain positions may also be eligible for assignment/project-based additional compensation, including a High Demand Stipend up to $8,350 annually, prorated based on the discipline and duration of the assignment. All additional compensations are subject to change depending on funding and negotiated agreement.

The Science Division at Bellevue College is organized into seven programs: Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Life Sciences, Molecular Biosciences, Engineering, Computer Science, and Earth & Space Science. Essential Functions
Typically, part-time faculty in Mathematics teach on campus, as dictated by program need, course schedule, and enrollment demand. Most classes meet daily, though there are some that meet twice per week onsite. In addition, part-time faculty are expected to be available to students periodically outside of class; to engage students actively in their own learning; to maintain high standards regarding course content; provide students with timely feedback on their course work and examinations; and to adhere to program assessment practices and policies. Part-time faculty may be expected to participate in student success efforts and assessment tasks.

Course Description
Investigation into specific facets of security in aviation. Current threats, counter terrorism measures, new technologies in the field and the importance of the aviation industry, both passenger and cargo, to the global economy.

Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW's Faculty Code Section 24-34. Anticipated start date is Summer 2026.
In addition to clinical work, teaching, scholarship, and service are integral to all Clinical Practice positions. The initial appointment period will be three years, at a minimum, with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical Practice track appointments are not eligible for tenure.
The base salary range for this position will be: AssistantProfessor range: $13,641 - $20,461 per month ($163,692- $245,532 annually), Associate Professor range: $16,487 - $24,730 per month ($197,844 - $296,760 annually), Professor range: $19,820 - $29,729 per month ($237,840 - $356,748 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the Children's University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by Children's University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
Other compensation associated with this position may include incentive through Children's University Medical Group practice plan. Additional administrative responsibilities may be offered to a specific candidate with appropriate experience and qualifications which may result in an administrative supplement (ADS).
The successful candidate will lead the development of a new Comprehensive Asthma Program at Seattle Children's Hospital. Positive factors for consideration include, but are not limited to, candidates with leadership skills and/or clinical expertise in asthma. The faculty member will work collaboratively to build an inpatient, outpatient and community-based program that integrates clinical care with advocacy and research. There is opportunity for both original research and research partnerships within the Center for Respiratory Biology and Therapeutics in the Seattle Children's Research Institute for the candidate, if desired. Mentorship resources will be provided per the Division of Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine and the UW Department of Pediatrics. Additionally, the Asthma Program will collaborate with the Odessa Brown Children's Clinic to deliver asthma care to the community. The candidate will be expected to actively participate in Divisional and Departmental activities. The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at DigiPen Institute of Technology invites applicants for Adjunct Faculty to teach an Ethics and Media course across various degree programs. This course explores ethical frameworks applied to media and social decision-making, focusing on how our choices around creation and consumption impact issues of safety, justice, sustainability, and inclusion. The course encourages students to develop critical thinking and media literacy skills through interactive discussions on potentially controversial topics.
The Department covers many subject areas, such as literature, communication, world history, philosophy, psychology, and more. Essential Functions/Duties
* Teach courses in accordance with departmental policies and procedures
* Prepare and submit (in the Learning Management System) timely grade reports and other reports on student performance
* Demonstrate evidence of teaching experience that supports a diverse student body and individuals from a variety of backgrounds and experiences
* Organize class material, activities, and assignments
* Relate assessments to learning outcomes
* Manage Student Teaching Assistants, supervising their timecards and reviewing their weekly hours, if required
* Provide input on, create, and improve course materials

Key Responsibilities:
