Position overview: This position will carry the title of Clinical or Teaching Assistant Professor of Marketing (non-tenure track). Teaching Responsibilities The successful candidate will demonstrate a record of or potential to: teach a range of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in marketing and sales employ active and experiential learning strategies, such as client projects, service learning, and technology-enhanced instruction mentor and provide meaningful feedback to students contribute to course and curriculum design that aligns the marketing and sales programs with industry needs and current and emerging marketing trends. Department overview: Boise State's Department of Marketing currently offers Marketing Major (BBA) and Minor programs of study and a Certificate in Professional Sales. Students majoring in marketing may choose emphasis areas in Brand and Product Marketing or Marketing Communications. Marketing courses, on average, enroll 34 students per course.
