The Opportunity
As Golisano Institute launches a Buffalo campus, we seek faculty who identify as practitioner-educators, bringing real-world business experience and passion for student learning to our classrooms. We're hiring multiple full-time faculty to deliver Golisano Institute's integrated business curriculum to Buffalo's inaugural cohort of up to 75 students. This founding faculty team will collaborate to create an innovative and rich, applied learning environment and establish the culture for future cohorts and colleagues. Our faculty want to teach students at a pivotal point in their professional and personal development, advise and mentor a diverse set of students, and continually develop their own skills, especially their teaching practice, to advance student success.
This role requires collaboration across locations with a diverse community of students, colleagues, and external partners. The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering (CBE) at the University at Buffalo (UB) invites candidates to apply for a position at the Associate Professor or Full Professor level to be known as Professor of Empire Innovation. Selected candidates will receive support through the SUNY Empire Innovation Program (EIP) which recognizes high caliber faculty with proven track records of externally funded research.
We invite applications from prominent leaders in the broad fields of AI and Biotechnology. Priority will be given to research areas such as AI-directed initiatives related to small molecule natural products; biologics; cell therapies; manufacturing across food, biotech, and biopharmaceutical products; and the interfacing of biotechnology and non-health-related fields (i.e., the biological production of organic or inorganic materials).
The successful candidate should have a record of scholarly accomplishments, a sustained externally funded research program (with the potential to obtain grants from a wide variety of public and private sources and collaborate and/or establish projects with industry), and teaching experience.

The Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE) invite applications for a tenure-track AssistantProfessor position in Computer Engineering specializing in Artificial Intelligence Systems. This position is part of a broader expansion in AI engineering in the college. The position is defined with broad scope that includes research related to developing, securing, or using AI chips and workloads, from edge devices to data centers. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University at Buffalo (UB) invites candidates to apply for the position of Associate Professor or Full Professor to be known as Professor of Empire Innovation. Selected candidates will receive support through the SUNY Empire Innovation Program (EIP), which recognizes high-caliber faculty with a proven track record of externally funded research.
We invite prominent leaders in the foundational areas of Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence and Robotic Systems, including computer vision (including video analysis and 3D reconstruction), machine learning (including big data analytics and adversarial machine learning), natural language processing (audio-visual multimodal understanding), autonomous systems (such as driverless cars), human-robot collaboration (focusing on attack modeling, privacy preservation, and safety guarantees), knowledge representation and reasoning, and cognitive science (computational linguistics, philosophy, and computer modeling of neural networks and brains).
The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, mentor graduate students, advise students at all levels, and maintain an active research program. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) offers BS degrees in computer science (accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission of ABET, and in computer engineering (accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission of ABET, a combined 5-year BS- MS program, a minor in computer science, a Certificate in Data-Intensive Computing, and several joint programs (BS in Computer Science/MBA, BS in Computational Physics, BA in Social Sciences Interdisciplinary - Cognitive Science Concentration, BS in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology - CSE concentration), a minor in cybersecurity, and an advanced graduate certificate in cybersecurity as well as MS and PhD programs in Computer Science & Engineering.
The department currently has over 50 tenure-track faculty, 18 teaching faculty, approximately 2,200 undergraduate majors, 1200 masters' and 160 PhD students. Over thirty junior faculty members have been hired since 2010, and we continue expanding. Two members of our faculty currently hold key university leadership positions, and nine members of our faculty are IEEE and/or ACM Fellows. The department is well known for offering an excellent collaborative and nurturing environment for faculty. Recently, a cohort of five junior faculty received the CAREER awards in 2019, setting a national record.
Our faculty members are actively involved in cutting-edge research and successful interdisciplinary programs and centers devoted to biometrics; bioinformatics; biomedical computing; computational and data science and engineering; computer vision and multimedia systems; database systems; document analysis and recognition; programming languages; high-performance computing; cybersecurity; embedded, networked and distributed systems; machine learning and artificial intelligence; connected and autonomous vehicles and sustainable transportation; and theory of computation. The Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at the assistantprofessor level. The department is accepting applications to fill a part-time position as a Clinical Supervisor in the Buffalo State Speech-Language-Hearing Clinic. Duties include providing graduate student clinicians with assistance in planning treatment and evaluation sessions, overseeing report writing and session plan development, and engaging in weekly meetings with students to provide guidance and performance feedback. Supervisors must also commit to observing treatment and evaluation sessions and completing clinical administrative paperwork (e.g., tracking hours and competencies in Typhon). The candidate must be available to work in the late afternoon/early evening hours two days per week.

Required Qualifications
* Master's degree in communication disorders/speech-language pathology
* Current ASHA certification in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP)
* Current NYS license in speech-language pathology

* Demonstrated experience of clinical practice as a speech-language pathologist
* Prior experience supervising graduate students (e.g., at an externship site)

Assistant professor job in Hamburg, NY
The Natural and Behavioral Sciences division is seeking qualified adjunct instructors to teach in-person and/or online courses in Human Services, Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counseling (ASAC), and Psychology. Candidates should have skills in research, assessment, data analysis, and a solid understanding of clinical therapy interventions. The successful candidate may be asked to teach introductory and/or advanced courses across these areas, including American Sign Language, human services methods, ethics, research methods, social work, family violence, addiction, substance abuse, counseling, and clinical, cognitive, developmental, and social psychology. In-person teaching positions require flexibility to teach morning, afternoon, and evening classes. Online instructors will be needed to teach in 7.5- or 15-week formats and will be provided with a pre-built course shell containing the course materials on Blackboard. New faculty members will be required to complete a new employee orientation either in person or online.
Requirements/Qualifications: A Master's degree in Psychology, Human Services, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a relevant field with clinical and research experience is required. Prior teaching experience is preferred.
