POSITION SUMMARY. The Engineering Program at Loras College invites applications for a full-time, tenure track position as an Assistant Professor of Engineering to begin August of 2026. As a member of the Noonan School of Business, Engineering, and Innovation, the successful candidate will be expected to develop and teach courses in electrical engineering, including controls, robotics, and automation, as well as specialized courses in his or her area of expertise. Candidates will be expected to teach in the general education curriculum and academically advise students. Given that the College is a diocesan Catholic college, will carry out your functions of your position in support of the College's Catholic Identity, mission and in support of Church teachings. There may be opportunities to supervise undergraduate research. In addition to teaching, the successful candidate will be expected to provide service to the College and engage with scholarship in line with the Ernest Boyer Model.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in electrical or computer engineering from an accredited institution; an M.S. in electrical or computer engineering with suitable experience will also be considered. Additional qualifications include:

The Department of Animal Science at Iowa State University is a recognized leader in its field, both nationally and internationally, with balanced emphasis on research, teaching, and extension. The department is home to approximately 1000 undergraduate students, 85 graduate students, and over 40 faculty members. The Department has a strong history of developing undergraduate students through research opportunities. The Department of Animal Science has extensive infrastructure to support meat science faculty in research, teaching, and extension efforts. Departmental facilities focused in the meat science area include a USDA-FSIS inspected Meat Laboratory with over 11,000 ft2 of harvest and processing space, biosafety level 2 (BSL-2) microbiology lab with a fully equipped processing room, chemistry laboratory and muscle biology laboratories. Faculty members also have access to a multitude of live animal units that are adjacent to campus including beef, swine, sheep, dairy, and poultry units.

Position details: Coe College invites applications from dynamic, student-centered individuals for a full- time tenure-track position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology to begin in the Fall of 2026. Primary responsibilities include: teaching undergraduate courses in Ecology and/or GIS for Biology majors. Additional rotating duties across semesters would likely also include: designing and teaching both an upper-level elective with lab in the candidate's field of expertise, as well as teaching the organismal and ecologically-focused lecture with lab, which is part of the sequence for first year biology majors. The ability to teach courses such as Spatial Statistics, Field Botany, Evolution, Invertebrate Biology, Environmental Studies or similar topics is also desirable. When course rotations allow, participation in interdisciplinary and First Year Seminar teaching is also expected. The normal course load typically includes two lecture courses and two labs per semester. Non-teaching responsibilities include student-faculty research, student advising, prospective student recruitment, and committee work.
Required Qualifications:
* Ph.D. in Ecology, Plant Biology, Botany or a related field, with post-doctoral and GIS experience strongly preferred.
* Demonstrate a commitment to excellent teaching, including the use of inclusive pedagogies along with strong mentoring and academic support of undergraduate student populations of diverse backgrounds.
* An active research agenda that can be modified for undergraduate research, with a publication record in appropriate scientific journals in the candidate's field of expertise. Previous experience working with undergraduates is also strongly preferred.

Department profile: The Department of Biology offers a Bachelor of Arts degree with concentrations in pre-health, environmental science, molecular biology, or neuroscience also available. The department graduates approximately 35 biology majors per year, making it one of the largest majors on campus. The department also offers courses in service for the college's nursing and kinesiology programs, as well as for general education. There are 7 full-time faculty with expertise in a wide variety of disciplines, as well as a full-time laboratory manager. Additional faculty and professionals in other departments within the College as well as other nearby research institutions provide excellent opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration. Our modern, renovated building (Peterson Hall) is shared with the chemistry and physics departments and contains space for coursework and the College's natural history collections. Des Moines University (DMU) is seeking a passionate and collaborative part-time Internal Medicine faculty member to join our academic community. This 0.5 FTE role (approximately 20 hours per week) offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of physicians through engaging lectures, interactive labs, and other innovative teaching experiences. Reporting to the Chair of the Primary Care - Academic department, this position works closely with a dedicated team of faculty committed to advancing DMU's mission of preparing exceptional health professionals through excellence in education and service.
What you'll do:
* Participate in the planning, implementation and assessment of learning activities for all educational opportunities provided by the department for levels of education to include, but not be limited to, classroom lectures, small group learning, simulation using both hi-definition manikins and human patient simulators, and clinical clerkship didactics for all University clinical programs.
* Participate in the continuous process of curricular innovation and revision, seeking methods to better integrate clinical learning throughout all the years of the curriculum.
* Perform related duties such as advising students on academic requirements and continued postgraduate education, act as advisor to student organizations, and participate in community outreach programs and functions.
* Serve on faculty committees, professional committees, and community organizations to impact the community and to advance the business of the University, the profession, and oneself when time allows.
* Participate in the interview process for prospective DO student if directed to do so by supervisor.

* D.O. degree from a COCA accredited college of osteopathic medicine or an M.D. degree from an LCME accredited college of medicine.
* Board-eligible/certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine or board eligible/certified by American Board of Internal Medicine.
* If board eligible, must obtain certification within one year of employment.
* The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of full time clinical experience in Internal Medicine or a related fellowship trained clinical practice.
