Teaching load for this position is 4/4 (12 credit hours) per semester, 75% in one or more of four Signature Learning courses: an introduction to religion required of all undergraduates, a first-year seminar reflecting area of specialization, and 300-level courses in humanities and in global systems reflecting area of specialization that will be cross-listed as religion electives. Courses to be taught in addition to those in Signature Learning might include Introduction to Asian Religions , Advanced Asian Religion and Philosophy, Native American Religions , Mythology Around the World , and courses designed by the instructor .

The successful candidate also will maintain an active profile of service and scholarship, provide academic advisement to students, participate on committees, and provide service to the university and profession .

If the Ph.D. will not be in hand by March 2023, the applicant must submit a letter from the dean of the applicant's graduate program indicating approval for graduation no later than August 2023. The contract will be contingent upon having the Ph.D. in hand.

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas Austin has multiple faculty openings with a start date of Fall 2023 for assistant professor positions . The department has embarked on a strategic expansion of its research focus, spanning growth in: applied AI/machine learning (ML), especially robotics and ML & systems; security and privacy; intelligent systems and infrastructure; and beyond Moore technology and systems. Candidates in the following areas of electrical and computer engineering will be considered, especially as they align with the strategic focus of the department: (i) 6G-era wireless communications, networking, and/or sensing; (ii) Cyber-security and privacy; (iii) Robotics; and (iv) Quantum devices and quantum information processing systems. Wilmington College invited applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Accounting to teach undergraduate courses effective the spring semester 2023. This is a non-tenure track position on our main campus in Wilmington, Ohio.

Teaching responsibilities will include both introductory and upper-level courses in accounting and finance. Other responsibilities will include advising majors, contributing to the development of new programs/courses and serving on college committees. Faculty also interact with students ad mentors on research projects and by meeting with prospective students. Finally, the faculty member will have the responsibility for managing the running the college's volunteer income tax assistance (VITA) program each year.
