* Assistant Professor
Starting Date Fall 2026 Responsibilities
The Department of Theatre in the Fain College of Fine Arts at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full time, tenure track, Assistant Professor, beginning August 2026.
Duties include a twelve-hour teaching load each semester serving as instructor of voice techniques, musical theatre and singing. In addition, this position may serve as director/musical director/vocal coach/intimacy coach or mentor for departmental productions. Other classes or duties may be assigned, commensurate with experience and/or departmental needs. Other duties include assessing students, holding office hours, mentoring students, recruiting, establishing strong working relationships with colleagues, and representing the Theatre Department on and off campus.
Requirements
Terminal degree in theatre, performance studies or a related field required. Experience and/or certifications in singing and voice training. Experience must include vocal performance, directing, and musical direction credits. Experience will be weighted based on quantity of credits and types of performances. Strong track record of proven recruitment skills.
In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply: functional piano skills, experiences in directing, acting and theatre history.

The teaching load for this position will be 24 undergraduate hours per academic year of Computer Science (CS), Information Technology (IT), Management Information Systems (MIS) and Cybersecurity courses. This position will begin in August 2026 and is a full-time, ten-month faculty position.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates applying for this position must have a PhD in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field. Applicants who are doctoral degree candidates may be considered for this position, but if hired and the degree has not been earned by the start of the employment period the initial appointment will be made at the rank (and salary) of Instructor and will only be converted upon documented completion of the degree, in accord with the conditions specified in the offer letter.

RESPONSIBILITIES

SALARY RANGE:

General Duties & Responsibilities
* Shall use Defense Language Institute English Language Center (DLIELC) courseware, methodology and processes.
* Comply with DLIELC test administration and security procedures.
* Provide students with a total immersion (face-to-face instruction in the classroom and associated facilities) in the American English language, using DLIELCs American Language Course (ALC) General ELT course materials.
* Prepare for the face-to-face instruction and other DLIELC processes outlined in the DLIELC Instructions and SOP as needed and instructed.
* Shall be prepared for distance learning forum when needed.
* May augment American Language Course (ALC) General ELT course material with general military, general aviation and general maintenance terminology to enhance the ability of RSAF students to understand follow-on operational and technical systems training/schoolhouse terminology. Any augmentation should be tempered with the RSAF ELT progression and the establishment of basic American English understanding.

* Shall endeavor to instill improved English language skills to students at a pace that meets or exceeds the most updated DLIELC standards.
* Develop and employ disciplinary processes that allow clear guidance to the RSAF students as it relates to the academic environment.
* Enforce standards outlined in current version of 82 Training Wing and RSAF F- 15 Fleet Modernization Program Concept of Operations.
* Develop processes and procedures to define and document the following: Unauthorized Absence, Authorized Absence, Unauthorized Tardy, and Authorized Tardy and report in a timely manner.
* Work with the Sheppard AFB assigned TPM/COR, AFSAT TPM/COR, and the RSAF Country Liaison Officer to address and resolve discipline issues.
* Responsible for keeping performance records which are analyzed and updated based upon each IMS performance.
* Ensure each IMS has a personalized Student Training Plan (STP) which identifies their strengths, and deficiencies for continuity in instruction between instructors and provides the IMS with course study recommendations.
* Shall diagnose, counsel, and document students' academic problems on student counseling and academic records. Keeping direct supervisors in track of students that are not showing the desired progress.
* Identify students who are not meeting or maintaining academic standards and update their Student Training Plan (STP). As necessary, the ELT shall place students on academic probation, assign Supplemental Language Training (SLT), and provide Individualized Training Program (ITP) classes, so that students can achieve academic standards.
* Train and assist with onboarding of new instructors as needed.
* Shall go through a familiarization of how to use DLIELC material as required.
* Instructors shall maintain a passing evaluation report in accordance with the parameters specific in the program.

The Department of Mass Communication in the Lamar D. Fain College of Fine Arts at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track, Assistant Professor to begin in August 2026. We are looking for a colleague who is excited to work with students and who believes journalism has an essential place in our society.
As a faculty member, you will be expected to:
1) teach a range of journalism courses (including print, digital and broadcast journalism) and other courses in the major as needed; 2) serve as an academic adviser; 3) lead students to participate in extracurricular activities such as student media and internships; 4) maintain a record of scholarly activities commensurate with rank; 5) actively recruit; 6) engage in other departmental, university and community service; 7) develop relationships with area professionals; 8) be a positive representative of the department both on and off campus; and 9) perform other duties as assigned

The Lamar D. Fain College of Fine Arts encompasses undergraduate programs in art, mass communication, music and theatre. About the Department/School/Area:
The mission of the Mass Communication program is to prepare graduates for employment in the multidiscipline media arena and/or graduate education. Our curriculum stresses theoretical principles, such as First Amendment law, media ethics and media history, as well as practical application, including skills such as writing, editing, production and digital media. Our students win awards in state, regional and national competitions on an annual basis. Alumni have won Pulitzer Prizes and gone on to some of the best graduate schools in the country.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
1. A doctorate or terminal degree in mass communication or a related field is required for the rank of assistant professor on tenure track. Candidates who are ABD and within one year of a completed doctorate will be considered for instructor and can be converted to tenure-track after completion of the doctorate.
2. Related teaching experience, especially at the undergraduate level (full-time teaching experience is preferred but we will also consider those with experience teaching as a graduate assistant); professional experience in the field of journalism; ability to teach core courses such as Mass Media and Society, Film Appreciation, and Interpersonal Communication.
3. Proven research agenda or the potential to implement a research agenda.
Preferred Qualifications:
In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply: experience in advising student media; experience in academic advising; experience with recruiting; or experience with video and/or multimedia production.

Job Description:
The Department of Agriculture, Biology & Health Sciences at Cameron University invites applications for the position of Instructor or Assistant Professor of Biology (tenure track). This position will begin in August 2025 and is a full time, ten month faculty position that is renewable annually with satisfactory performance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Standard 24 load hour annual teaching assignment (12 hours per term) including undergraduate courses in human anatomy, human physiology, and other courses that support the B.S. in Biology and the A.S. in Allied Health Sciences degrees at Cameron University. Other courses in the area of expertise may be taught and/or developed, depending on the needs of the department. Candidates should be able to teach in a variety of formats including online. Teaching assignments will include the Cameron University campus in Duncan, OK and the main campus in Lawton, OK. Additional duties will include: active participation in service, scholarship, and required university, school, and department functions; mentoring undergraduate students in research; advising students; participating in program assessment; online course development; participating in recruiting and retention efforts; participating in departmental governance; and other duties as assigned.
PROMOTION AND TENURE:
Promotion and tenure require demonstrated teaching effectiveness, scholarship, and service. Teaching effectiveness is demonstrated through multiple means, including but not limited to student evaluations, peer evaluations, course and curriculum development, development or incorporation of innovative teaching approaches/materials, and continued intellectual development. The department embraces scholarship in all of its forms, including the scholarship of discovery, the scholarship of integration, the scholarship of application, and the scholarship of teaching. Development of a program of scholarly study that involves undergraduate students is especially valued. The department's long history of collaboration with the staff of the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge provides unique opportunities for conducting research. Service includes service and leadership to the department and the university, and service to the public or the profession. Faculty are evaluated annually in the areas of teaching effectiveness, service, and scholarship.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires an MS in biology or related field to qualify at the Instructor rank and a Ph.D. in biology or a terminal degree in a related area to qualify at the Assistant Professor rank, with experience in the areas of human anatomy and human physiology. Applicants who are doctoral degree candidates may be considered for this tenure track position, but if hired and the degree has not been earned by the start of the employment period the initial appointment will be made at the rank (and salary) of Instructor and will only be converted upon documented completion of the degree, in accord with the conditions specified in the offer letter.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in biology or a terminal degree in a closely related area with graduate hours in the areas of anatomy and/or physiology. Demonstrated successful higher education teaching experience is preferred. The ideal candidate will be broadly trained in biology and will contribute across the curriculum.
THE DEPARTMENT:
The department is one of the largest at Cameron University and offers the B.S. in Biology with options in cell and molecular biology, organismal biology, and medical laboratory science, and the B.S. in Agriculture with options in agribusiness management, agronomy, animal science and general agriculture. In addition, the department offers an A.S. in Allied Health Sciences, an A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology, and an A.A.S. in Respiratory Care. The department is housed in the Sciences Complex, a

facility that was dedicated in 1998. The facility includes modern classrooms and teaching laboratories, along with shared research space and instrumentation, as well as the McMahon Gross Anatomy Laboratory, which provides dedicated space for human cadaver dissection, an integral component of the human anatomy course. In addition, courses are taught at the Duncan, OK campus, which includes two newly opened laboratories. University support for faculty scholarship is available on a competitive basis through funds from numerous endowed lectureships, and the university provides additional internal funding to support faculty development, faculty scholarship, and innovative instructional approaches. The Department of Music in the Lamar D. Fain College of Fine Arts at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor and Director of Choral Activities to begin August 2026.
As a faculty member in the Department of Music, you will be expected to: 1. Direct and recruit for the choirs (Midwestern Singers, Oratorio Chorus); 2. Teach diction, choral literature, and applied voice lessons; 3. Develop a record of research/creative activity; and 4. Assess students, hold office hours, and engage in department, college, and university service.
The Lamar D. Fain College of Fine Arts encompasses undergraduate programs in art, mass communication, music, and theatre. The college prides itself on ensuring that its students do what they study and is committed to offering individualized instruction in functional, safe, modern surroundings. Emphasis is placed on applying classroom learning to process and performance. Students are taught to create within their disciplines and are also challenged to evaluate the quality of what they have created, to assess the effect of their creations on the wider culture, and to aspire to professionalism and excellence.
The Department of Music at Midwestern State University, a National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) accredited institution, offers four undergraduate degrees-the Bachelor of Music in Performance, the Bachelor of Music with Teacher Certification, the Bachelor of Musical Arts, and the Bachelor of Arts in Music to a student population of approximately 60 majors.
Requirements
Applicants are required to have:
1. a completed doctoral degree in music;
2. successful teaching experience in choral conducting; and
3. a record of successful artistic/professional musical achievements.
In addition to the required qualifications, individuals with the following preferred qualifications are strongly encouraged to apply:
1. a completed doctoral degree in music with specialization in choral conducting and/or vocal performance;
2. substantial experience with music ensemble recruitment and retention;
3. experience collaborating with choral directors in junior and senior high school programs;
4. successful teaching experience in studio voice instruction, vocal performance, musical theatre direction, vocal accompanying, or other similar skills

POSITION TITLE:
Part time Adjunct Faculty for the Cameron University, Department of Chemistry, Physics & Engineering
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Adjuncts holding this position may teach a maximum of 9 credit hours a semester.
Responsibilities will include teaching engineering courses such as CAD, Solid Works and/or Electrical Circuits which are required for our Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering. It will also require attending some mandatory university and department meetings, collecting assessment data for the courses under your instruction, and holding office hours for your students. The position requires the instructor to teach day and/or night classes as well as online courses. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
For courses taught in the Associate of Applied Science degree in Engineering, a Bachelor's Degree in the field of engineering is required plus a minimum of 18 or more graduate hours in engineering OR three years of tested experience in the field of engineering.

The Department of Mathematics at Midwestern State University invites applications for·a full-time 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin Spring 2026. As a faculty member in the Department of Mathematics you will be expected to:

The McCoy College of Science, Mathematics and Engineering currently has 52 full-time faculty members in 6 academic departments/schools. The College serves more than 700 students in STEM majors and provides graduate programs in Biology, Computer Science, and Geosciences. The Department of Mathematics consists of fifteen faculty members and offers a BS and BA in mathematics along with courses supporting all university programs. The department takes a collaborative approach to teaching and research, with partnerships throughout the university.
Requirements
Required Qualifications include:
* Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field, such as statistics or applied mathematics (ABD is acceptable at time of selection, but completion date must be no later than August 1, 2026.)
* Demonstrated excellence in teaching undergraduate courses. Teaching as a graduate student is applicable as long as it includes primary responsibility for a course.

The Department of Agriculture, Biology and Health Sciences seeks applications from qualified individuals who are interested in part time teaching positions as adjunct instructors in our Respiratory Care program. Adjunct faculty may teach a maximum of nine credit hours during a semester.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications for the position (temporary appointment) include (1) graduate of an accredited program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree level) in respiratory care; (2) Oklahoma licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner; (3) Certified Respiratory Therapist; (4) Three years as a practicing Respiratory Therapist; (5) Two years of critical care experience; (6) One year precepting new hires or students of a CoARC-accredited respiratory care program; and (8) Individual must be able to abide by current and future clinical site requirements as mandated by each site
Preferred Qualifications:
Desired qualifications include: (1) Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT); (2) Master's degree in Respiratory Care or related healthcare field; and (3) Relevant teaching experience in Respiratory Care or other related healthcare field
About the Program:
The A.A.S. in Respiratory Care program is accredited by CoARC. It has been in operation continuously since 1999. Originally it operated as a consortium agreement between Cameron University and Great Plains Technology Center in Lawton, OK. However, in 2015 program sponsorship moved to Cameron University and the program became an undergraduate degree program at Cameron University. The faculty members in the program are Cameron University employees and the students in the program are Cameron University students. The professional courses continue to be taught at Great Plains Technology Center, through a continuing partnership with Cameron University. Students engage in clinical practice at nine hospitals located across southwest Oklahoma and in Oklahoma City. The program currently is authorized to accept a maximum of thirteen students annually into the professional program, which encompasses 16 months of coursework and clinical experience. A new cohort is selected during the late spring and begins the program in August of each year.

The Department of History in the College of Prothro-Yeager College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Midwestern State University invites applications for a full-time, 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor to begin in Fall 2026.
As a faculty member in the Department of History, you will be expected to:
1. Teach 12 credit hours (4 courses) a semester. This includes core courses in U.S. history as well as upper-level courses in public history and/or digital history approaches. Face-to-face and online teaching are both expected.
2. Maintain an active research agenda within one's field of expertise. This may include public and/or digital history projects.
3. Provide service to the department, college, and university, including participation in recruitment and retention activities.
