The Parson Construction Management Program in the College of Engineering, Applied Science and Technology at Weber State University seeks applications for a full-time, nine-month faculty position starting January 2026. The program offers both associate and baccalaureate degrees. Rank and tenure will be determined based on experience and credentials of the selected applicant. We seek candidates who have the desire and potential to be a great teacher and who possess significant relevant industry experience. The Parson Construction Management program (established in 1997) caters to the working professional; as such, all classes are taught in the evening. Applicants should have demonstrated ability to teach classes in at least two, preferably three, of the following areas: construction accounting and finance; construction design and contracts; civil surveying & construction layout; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing ( MEP ); construction planning and scheduling; construction estimating; construction safety. Required Qualifications
Minimum Requirements for Instructor Level Appointment: Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction, architecture, business, or related degree Five years of increasingly responsible project management experience in the US construction industry. The instructor position is a temporary, non-tenure track position, that can be renewed annually at the sole discretion of the university. The instructor position may be converted to a tenure-track position if the Faculty of the Department of Construction and Building Sciences and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Applied Science and Technology agree that there is evidence of progress towards academic potential and the instructor meets the requirements set forth below for hiring at AssistantProfessor/Tenure Track Level. We are seeking a candidate with research expertise in the development of advanced food manufacturing technologies that complement the agriculture and food processing in the Intermountain West of the USA. Areas of interest include but are not limited to: processing technologies; sustainable food packaging materials and designs; high-speed automation, industrial robotics, and smart systems; nonosensory and detection devices for food safety and quality; technologies to enhance shelf-life, reduce food waste, and improve nutritional value; and innovations that improve energy and water efficiency in food production.
In addition, the candidate will be expected to develop programs to train the next generation of food scientists for employment in an industry increasingly relying on automated processes to produce foods.
The successful applicant will have a passion for, and experience in teaching and will be expected to contribute to the expansion of our undergraduate program and online graduate food science program. The teaching responsibilities will include a three course load that may include 1) overseeing the statewide teaching of an online introductory food science class and integration into Utah high schools, and 2) teaching graduate courses in the in-person MS/PhD program and online Masters of Food Safety and Quality program. To meet the needs of students across the USU statewide system, the teaching formats may include both in-person and on-line delivery.

Education and Experience Requirements:
* Must have a minimum of two (2) years of documented phlebotomy experience in a healthcare setting.

Minimum Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Must be able to pass and maintain DOT physical, drug and alcohol screening, and background checks.
* No reportable accidents in the last 12 months.
* Must have extensive knowledge of pre-trip procedures and be able to safely demonstrate proper backing, shifting, and driving procedures.
* Requires familiarity with the use of multiple Trucking/CDL loading, unloading, and cargo securement processes.
* Demonstrates the ability to teach Trucking/CDL concepts, best practices, and all curriculum that equates to the student earning their Class A CDL with endorsements.
* Capable of instructing students on current Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration standards.
* Ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.Requires basic computer skills.

The Department of Veterinary Clinical and Life Sciences (VCLS) in the Utah State University College of Veterinary Medicine (USU CVM) is seeking applicants who are board-certified in anatomic pathology and have an interest in pursuing board certification in clinical pathology for a professional practice assistantprofessor faculty position. This is a fiscal year appointment, in a non-tenure track position that includes 60% teaching, 35% clinical diagnostic service, and 5% service. The clinical diagnostic service is provided through the Utah Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory (UVDL). The UVDL is a cooperative effort by USU and the Utah Department of Agriculture and Food and is accredited by the American Association of Veterinary Laboratory Diagnosticians (AAVLD). Evaluation of candidates will begin August 15, 2025, and will continue until the position is filled. Anticipated start date January 2, 2026.
The candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of veterinary professionals by delivering anatomic pathology and clinical pathology instruction in the new Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree curriculum. In this capacity, the candidate is also expected to develop and implement innovative teaching methodologies, assessment tools, and evaluation criteria to measure veterinary students' mastery throughout the program's entirety. The candidate will also contribute to additional curriculum activities associated with their expertise.
The USU CVM was founded in 2022 and received a letter of reasonable assurance of accreditation from the AVMA COE in 2025. The CVM will admit its inaugural class of 40 students in the fall of 2025 and support a class size of 80 veterinary students in subsequent years.

Position Responsibilities for Teaching:
Provide anatomic and clinical pathology instruction in the new DVM degree curriculum.
Train veterinary pathology residents and graduate students.
Develop and coordinate a 1-month diagnostic medicine rotation for 4th-year veterinary students
Position Responsibilities for Clinical Diagnostic Extension Service at the UVDL:
Pursue and obtain board certification in clinical pathology with the ACVP within five years. Time will be allowed for clinical pathology training and board preparation.
Perform veterinary diagnostic laboratory duties as a pathologist and veterinary medical diagnostician.
Provide medical interpretations of data generated by laboratory technicians in your section and summarize cases wherein laboratory data is generated from more than one section.
Document laboratory medical findings by photographic and written reports.
Communicate, both orally and in writing, laboratory findings to submitting veterinarians, animal owners, public health officials, and regulatory personnel.
Provide pathology support to USU researchers.
Demonstrate scholarship in veterinary laboratory diagnostic medicine by publishing case reports, reviews, etc. in peer-reviewed journals.
Participate in maintaining laboratory accreditation.
Perform additional duties that support the overall mission of the UVDL.
