    The Department of Health Sciences in the School of Health & Human Sciences ( SHHS ) at Indiana University Indianapolis invites applications for a 10-month appointment, tenure track faculty position. The successful applicant will have the ability to teach and mentor both graduate (MS and PhD) and undergraduate (BS) students, will be responsible for developing an active and sustainable research agenda in their area of expertise, generate external funding, engage in online and classroom teaching, and provide service to the school, university, community, and profession. Individuals with translational research and/or community engagement experiences are especially encouraged to apply in addition to those with expertise in the palliative care and/or integrative medicine fields. Job Duties: 50% Research 40% Teaching ( courses / fall and spring semesters) 10% Service The Department of Health Sciences offers a PhD in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, a MS in Health Sciences, and a BS in Health Sciences. Additionally, the department offers a minor in Serious Illness and Supportive Care and three undergraduate certificates in Gerontology, Global Health and Rehabilitation Studies, and Rehabilitation and Disability Studies.
