**The Opportunity**
This is an **in-office role** based in **Kansas City, MO** , with a schedule of **Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM** .
The position of Clinical Review Nurse is within our Toxicology division located at our **Kansas City, MO** site within Workplace Solutions. In this role, the **Clinical Review Nurse** is responsible for accuracy and integrity of the Workplace Solutions drug testing review process. This role communicates directly with donors to determine if there are factors that would explain drug test results that were confirmed to be positive or invalid. Additionally, review physicals and self-reported medications for client employers. Evaluate medical documentation to determine if employees/drivers meet the job requirements and/or DOT regulations/guidelines. Consult with Consulting Physicians as needed. Receive phone/email inquiries regarding pending physicals, self-reported medications, and medical cases. Follow-up with medical providers, clinics, and employees/drivers to obtain corrections and additional documentation/records.
**What You'll Work On**
The Clinical Review Specialist will be part of an elite group of personnel providing support to Abbott Rapid Diagnostics, Workplace Solutions clients. This support includes, but is not limited to:
+ Provide subject matter expertise in executing Drug Testing Services across Workplace Solutions broad customer base.
+ Work closely with drug & alcohol testing staff and support to uphold and preserve the integrity of the clinical review process. Participate in process improvement discussions, in partnership with Workplace Operations Leadership.
+ Interpret and report results of Workplace clients consistent with Workplace Solutions written Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Review documentation for possible errors, speak with donors over the phone, and determine if a legitimate medical explanation exists to explain a non-negative lab report.
+ Provide feedback to laboratory and collection site representatives regarding performance problems, as needed.
+ Provide feedback to clients and tested persons on problem cases.
+ Participate in the development of annual Medical Services and Drug & Alcohol Testing Services Department goals and objectives.
+ Ensure adherence to applicable Abbott Rapid Diagnostics Quality policies & procedures.
+ Review physical exam documentation for completeness and accuracy, following established Occupational Health Services processes.
+ Follow-up with medical providers, clinics, employers, and employee/drivers to obtain necessary corrections and/or additional medical documentation.
+ Review medical documentation to determine if employees on medical leave meet DOT regulations and recommendations for return to work as DOT drivers.
+ Review DOT driver self-reported medications to determine if a safety-sensitive letter is needed.
+ Identify changes in medical status associated with reported medications.
+ Review donor-submitted records (laboratory and ancillary testing results, vaccine/TB testing records, OSHA respirator questionnaires) to determine if donor meets identified client requirements.
+ Provide updates to employer regarding status of medical cases in review.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Job Description
The Henry W. Bloch School of Management at the University of Missouri-Kansas City is seeking applications for a tenure-track position at the AssistantProfessor rank. We welcome candidates with teaching and research interests in operations and supply chain management, with particular interests in the application of AI to business and supply chain processes.
Qualifications
* PhD or DBA in supply chain, operations, or a related discipline such as business analytics, industrial engineering, information systems from an institution where the business school is accredited by AACSB or EQUIS.
* ABDs will be considered. However, the doctoral degree must be completed by the start date.
* Candidates must offer evidence of instructional effectiveness. Candidates also must demonstrate the potential to effectively utilize different teaching modalities and to address the needs of students from across a broad portfolio of programs and students. Evidence of capability to effectively teach courses in operations and supply chain management, including courses that focus on the application of AI. The curriculum vitae must include a listing of courses taught to date along with teaching evaluation scores.

JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for providing high-quality, engaging, in-person instruction in anatomy and physiology for the Physician Assistant (PA) program's didactic phase. Instructions will include the use of the Anatomage Table, lecture presentations, and interactive discussions to enhance learner understanding of human anatomy and physiological function. The adjunct will teach one day per week on campus and will provide academic mentoring as needed. Course content will align with University and PA curriculum standards and the PA Program's mission, vision, values, and competencies.
Ottawa University is accepting applications for potential openings for Adjunct Instructor positions. The need for these positions is undetermined at this time and is dependent on operational need including enrollment and staffing If a need arises, the department will select candidates from this general adjunct posting. We do post adjunct instructor positions for specific areas and needs periodically and you will need to apply as you see those become available.

Many of our adjunct instructors hold a full-time career elsewhere, and choose to teach in our evening, weekend, and online programs so that they may have the opportunity to teach students.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB
* Deliver in-person anatomy and physiology instruction using the Anatomage Table, lectures, and interactive learning strategies.
* Utilize 3D visualization and virtual dissection technology to support anatomy education.
* Reinforce anatomical and physiology concepts through case-based learning relevant to clinical practice.
* Maintain high teaching standards using engaging pedagogy and best practices in graduate medical education.
* Stay current in anatomy and physiology education, including technology-enhanced teaching methods.
* Evaluate learner performance through quizzes, exams, and practical assessments.
* Provide remediation instruction as needed to support learner success.
* Complete course evaluations and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
* Offer academic guidance to learners and identify opportunities for success.
* Support learner retention efforts.
* Follow the standardized course syllabus while integrating professional expertise into classroom delivery.
* Provide contact information and maintain accessibility for learners during the course term.
* Create a supportive and learner-centered learning environment.
