Salary and Benefits:

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
$200,000 - $215,000 per year, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU's compensation plan. RVU's full compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range. The primary responsibility of this individual is to provide quality instruction to Western students enrolled in Sociology and Criminal Justice classes taught within Western's service area. Western offers courses in a variety of modalities. Teaching in multiple instructional modalities is common. Sections may be offered as face-to-face, Internet, Hybrid, Hy-Flex, or Block sections. This individual must be able to relate to a wide variety of students in the community college environment, including local business audiences seeking industry-training programs. This individual's responsibilities will include teaching courses throughout the academic year.
Typical load is 30 credit hours per academic year; usually 5 courses per semester.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR WHICH THIS INDIVIDUAL IS ACCOUNTABLE
1. Provides quality instruction to students in assigned courses, including, but not limited to Sociology and Criminal Justice.
2. Provides quality learning experiences for enrolled students, in accordance with their needs and abilities, while maintaining the basic integrity of the course's standards and objectives. Motivates students through careful preparation of course materials, the use of effective teaching methodologies, and provides substantive feedback on assignments and discussions.
3. Follows department objectives and criteria for each course, as well as the Curriculum Committee's guidelines regarding course syllabi. Evaluates student performance while considering these objectives and criteria.
4. Teaches courses on dates and times as assigned by the School Dean. Provides leadership to adjunct and concurrent faculty on the design and delivery of common course content.

Contributes current advising information to the Western Advising Handbook and Course Shell, including Western curricula at the University of Wyoming and other regional universities. Attends annual advisor training sessions.

7. Maintains an appropriate schedule of office hours that serve on-campus and distance education students. Minimum Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Job Description
This job announcement will be used to fill a vacancy on the Meridian campus. Faculty members are responsible for carrying out matters related to the didactic education program in coordination with the program director. These matters may include: accreditation/certification; program planning and assessment; developing and achieving annual goals/objectives; program marketing and student recruitment; student advising; fieldwork educator and fieldwork site training and

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop, organize, and deliver course content as assigned by the program director related to and in line with the program curriculum.

2. Three (3) years of documented full-time clinical experience (or equivalent to 3 years full-time) as an occupational therapist
3. Current license to practice OT in the state of Idaho or ability to obtain OT licensure in the state of Idaho by applicants start date
4. Current NBCOT Certification
5. Current AOTA membership at the time of application (expiration date after anticipated start date)
6. All materials submitted including (3) references, CV/resume and cover letter, and statement of teaching philosophy

1. Documented current expertise in the areas of adult OT experience, especially in geriatrics and/or neurorehab.

Idaho State University invites applications for a Visiting AssistantProfessor in the Department of Political Science. The appointment will begin in the Fall 2026 semester and is renewable for up to three years. The department is seeking a candidate with the ability to contribute broadly to its undergraduate and three graduate programs (DA, MA, and MPA), with a specific emphasis on candidates with expertise in American Politics, covering institutions and behaviors. The successful candidate is expected to cover the department's needs to teach the Presidency, the Legislative Process, Political Parties and Groups, and Voting and Public Opinion courses spread over two semesters on a 3-3 teaching load.

Demonstrate or willing to acquire skills for utilizing online activities as enhancers to course content/material during interactive teaching and learning
Assist with reviewing and revising of syllabus for specific course within the program and instructional guidelines
Submit required program reports and forms to Director of the program in a timely manner
Keep current with new technologies and safety regulations.
Maintains student records of attendance, grades, and skills check-off forms and assist with program data collection that meet set due dates and deadlines
Assists with updating and maintaining student files as relates to clinical requirements, immunizations and educational requirements.
Teach courses at a variety of times and locations in responds to program needs
Teaches both lecture content and clinical rotations (clinical rotations can be days, and/or evenings, on weekdays and/or weekends).
Participate in professional development; maintain CE hours to ensure renewed licensure, takes responsibility for staying current with college updates
Actively participates in committees as assigned, based on availability, taking into consideration teaching responsibilities as priority
Qualifications
Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse with current licensure in the state in which you are applying to teach
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing; Master's in nursing Bachelor of Science or Bachelor Science in Nursing or credentials as required by state regulations
Able to meet the faculty requirements set by the Board of Vocational Nursing
Experience which demonstrates: Current knowledge of nursing practice; ability to mentor students in classroom, lab and clinical settings; ability to work independently without close supervision; broad knowledge of nursing sciences; successful handling of day to day operations in the nursing lab; proficient, strong communications skills verbal and written; current knowledge/experience in clinical setting
Current immunizations and Basic Life Support Certification
