The LaFetra College of Education at the University of La Verne is building a strong pool of adjunct faculty to support three student-centered programs: the M.S. in Educational Counseling , the M.S. in School Psychology , and the undergraduate Child Development major. Across these programs, we are seeking colleagues who want to join a diverse, collaborative training community committed to preparing ethical, culturally responsive practitioners and educators who lead with competence, advocacy, and a commitment to social change in PK-12 and community contexts. Adjunct instructors teach the undergraduate Child Development courses, graduate-level Educational Counseling courses, and graduate-level School Psychology courses primarily on the main La Verne campus. However, there are courses online, hybrid (mixed in person and virtual), and/or at remote campuses. We invite applications year-round for a continuous applicant pool for part-time undergraduate and graduate teaching assignments, filled on an as-needed basis. This department job posting includes several academic programs. Applicants will be added to the Adjunct Pool. You will be asked to indicate the SPECIFIC PROGRAM for which you are applying to teach courses and that you are qualified and/or have the credentials to work. Required Qualifications
Educational Counseling Qualifications : 1. Earned doctorate or master's degree in Educational Counseling or School Psychology from a regionally accredited institution. 2. PPS Credential with specialization in School Counseling. 3. A minimum of three years of successful experience in Educational Counseling PK-16. 4. A commitment to and experience working with diverse student populations, families, communities and issues of social justice. 5. Experience with development of planning, organizing, and implementing data-based comprehensive school counseling programs, best practices in individual/small group counseling, counselor leadership. 6. Working knowledge of the American School Counselor Association ( ASCA ) National Model framework for comprehensive, data-driven school counseling programs. School Pyschology Qualifications : 1. Earned doctorate or Master's degree in School Psychology or Educational Counseling from a regionally accredited institution. 2. PPS Credential with specialization in School Psychology. 3. A minimum of three years of successful experience in school psychology. 4. A commitment to and experience working with diverse student populations, families, communities, and issues of social justice. 5. Experience with data-based decision making, academic intervention/strategy development, best practices in assessment/bilingual assessment, and behavior intervention. 6. The SC&DS seeks a full-time assistantprofessor to join a growing and dynamic faculty team. CSUSB's cutting edge Cybersecurity program prepares students to address the cybersecurity issues and concerns faced today in many corporate and government environments. The foundation of our Cybersecurity program consists of imparting the skills required to succeed along with a combination of technical skills, policy, teamwork, ethics, and professionalism. In 2022, the Cyber program successfully renewed the NSA/DHS designation of Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD). Since receiving the CAE-CD designation, the Center for Cyber and AI has secured a portfolio of $85m in grants and scholarships focused on the cyber workforce.
The ideal candidate for this position must have knowledge, skill, and interest in teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses in Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence offered by the SC&DS at CSUSB San Bernardino and at Palm Desert campuses. Candidates having a combination of both theory/research and applied/hands-on teaching experiences in the areas of Cybersecurity Management, Ethical hacking - SCADA/IOT, Forensics, Incident Response, applied AI, and hold Industry recognized certifications such as Security+, CISSP, etc. are a plus. A deep understanding of the Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber program as well as the critical workforce frameworks (Department of Defense Cyber Workforce Framework, NIST 800-181) is important for the candidate. Experience working with US Government partners in cyber defense is also desired.
The successful candidate will also be expected to advise students, serve on Department, College and University Committees, contribute to and participate in the life and strategic priorities of the SC&DS, and engage in the broader University disciplinary communities.

JOB SUMMARY
Department of Music, AssistantProfessor of Music Therapy - To lead our Bachelor of Music undergraduate program in Music Therapy as program director and professor. JOB SUMMARY
The Mathematics Department at California State University, San Bernardino is seeking part-time lecturer applications from a diverse group of qualified individuals. The department is seeking experienced, well-organized, and student-centered individuals to teach Quantitative Reasoning, Mathematics for Educators or selected 2000-level courses at the San Bernardino Campus. Quantitative Reasoning instructors may also teach lab sections designed to support student success in college level mathematics. Candidates must have at least a Master's degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or equivalent. Preference will be given to candidates who have prior teaching experience at the college or university level and who can furnish evidence of strong teaching. Candidates should demonstrate their ability to interact and work effectively with a wide and culturally diverse range of students, including first-generation college students. Preference will be given to those with experience in working with diverse populations and fostering a collaborative, supportive and inclusive environment. Preference will also be given to those with relevant work experience and those who bring professional capabilities. To be considered to teach courses in the Mathematics for Educators sequence, preparation/experience in K-12 mathematics education and thorough familiarity with the California Common Core State Standards is strongly preferred.
This is a pool of part-time lecturers for the department to draw on as necessary and all appointments are temporary.
