The Assistant Lecturer & Online Program Coordinator will teach two courses per term in the 11-month program and provide primary leadership for all aspects of the online MS in Information and Communication Science (ICS) degree program, including recruiting, partnerships, curriculum, student success and retention, and career placement.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Duty 1 - Serve as faculty member for the ICS online Master's program.
Job Duty 2 - Work with the Department of Online and Strategic learning as the faculty lead for marketing, recruitment, and enrollment for the online MS in ICS degree.
Job Duty 3 - Work with university CRM system to engage with prospective students. The primary purpose of this engagement will be for recruitment. This will include arranging information sessions; providing remediation strategies to ineligible students; and developing corporate partnerships for enrollment and placement.
Job Duty 4 - Serve as Academic Advisor to incoming and continuing online students MS in ICS degree. This includes course scheduling, career counseling, and student success.

Assistant Program Coordinators perform clinical functions (e.g. vital signs, medication review, pending of medication refills), assist RNCCs with administrative tasks, and provide general support to RNCCs. Under the direction of the clinic manager or designee, Assistant Program Coordinators support clinic functions by retrieving medical record, covering Epic InBaskets, obtaining prior authorizations, and assisting with procedures. This position requires providing service to all age populations in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served.
Assists the RNCC and/or LIP n assuring effective and efficient clinic operations while maintaining consistent and accurate communication with team members, referring providers, and patients
Assists the registered nurse and/or provider with patients' physical, psychological, social, and cultural data collection according to practice standards and institutional policy/procedure

OR Medic Requirement:
High School Graduate or Equivalent.
Experience: 3 years clinical experience required, neurology experience is preferred.
Licensure:
Medical Assistant Requirement:
- Certified Medical Assistant by the AAMA (American Association of Medical Assistants), Registered Medical Assistant by the American Medical Technologists, or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant by the National Health career Association. Credential must be obtained within 6 months from the date of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
OR Medic Requirement:
