Review and compare project hours and expenses to budgets
Manage change orders
Closeout Package:
Prepare and submit the closeout package
Accounts Receivable:
Prepare and submit the invoices
Collect payments

Work with the customer to resolve issues and collect payment
ProjectManager:

JOB SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Superintendent shall execute onsite management of capital construction and engineering projects under the direction of a ProjectManager or Director of ProjectManagement. The Project Superintendent will assist in the execution of the scope of work and schedule of the assigned projects.
Responsibilities include:
Maintain a safe work record within the group and on project sites. Promote Safety Management culture on all project sites.
Oversee capital project construction on site to ensure proper construction practices and a safe work environment. Duties include, but are not limited to:
Monitoring contractor's work to ensure work is being performed according to plans and specifications.
Patrolling the site to look for and eliminate any conditions which could result in an unsafe work environment.
Implementing and enforcing all required safety rules and regulations to prevent injury and/or death and protect POET Design and Construction from liability claims.
Ensure all site contractors are performing within their designated safety guidelines and establishing and providing a secure jobsite.
Collect and file contractor safety documentation as outlined in Site Construction Handbook.
Coordinate construction activities between site contractors and office personnel. Duties include but are not limited to:
Keep project drawings updated and make sure contractors are aware of any and all changes made to the design of the project.
Hold weekly site progress meetings to discuss safety, open issues, and plan for upcoming work.
Keep office personnel updated on the status of the jobsite through distribution of meeting minutes.
Keep updated records of open issues and changes encountered in the field so that they can be forwarded to the office and documented on the as-built drawings.
Keep daily construction logs and permit compliance logs up to day.
Responsible for receiving and organizing all materials and equipment delivered to the site for the purpose of constructing the project. Duties include but are not limited to:
Establish and organize adequate lay-down areas for materials and equipment.
Document receipt of all materials on site and its distribution to the proper contractor.
Maintain a warehouse for storing and tracking parts and fittings.
Change Order authorization and verification.
Drawing clarifications and corrections.
Coordinating site laydown and work configuration for trades.
Supervise onsite construction personnel including, but not limited to Warehouse Manager, Site Administrative Assistant and Site Laborers. Duties include but are not limited to:
Interviewing and hiring site personnel as required.
Directing site employees in their day-to-day activities.
Training and mentoring team members with little to no construction experience.
Effectively manages team by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training team members. Leadership responsibilities also include delegation, coaching and performance management and career development to effectively execute departmental strategies and support company objectives.
Attend pre-bid and pre-construction meetings for contracts issued for each project.
Assist in coordinating the project commissioning, including the internal start-up team, sub-contractors, and vendors.
Create and manageproject punchlists and work with the ProjectManager and others to complete these tasks.
Foster a culture of safe behavior and environmental compliance at all times.
Maintain a team environment at all times and champion POET in the community.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
4-year degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Business preferred but not required.
Experience Requirements:
Project Superintendent: 10 to 15 years of industrial construction management. 5 or more years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Senior Project Superintendent: 20 to 25 years of industrial construction management is required. 10 or more years of supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Must possess excellent scheduling and budget management skills.
Strong sense of teamwork and ownership is essential.
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to change.
Strong knowledge of MS Project preferred. You know the basics of Microsoft Office Suite. You're capable of learning new programs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Up to 100% travel will be part of the norm for this position to oversee the projects at any one of our 35 bioprocessing facilities.
In this role, you'll be asked to drive a POET vehicle. A motor vehicle record check will be conducted during the pre-employment process.
The work environment at POET is dynamic. You should expect a balance between time spent in the office and at the bioprocessing facility, which may include some physical labor helping your team members.

As a projectmanager, it will be your duty to deliver an awesome experience to our customers. It is our goal to make our customers so happy that they wouldn't do business with anyone else. To do that, our projectmanagers have to keep the job on schedule and under budget. They have to always be one step ahead of what's going on.
Typical duties include analyzing drawings, scheduling, cost tracking, ordering materials, contracting with subs, field visits, and problem solving. Much time will be spent coordinating with architects, subcontractors, material vendors, and customers. Most of our projects fall between zero and six million dollars.
Upon being hired, we will train you on the systems we use to manageprojects. After being trained in our system, you will need to work daily to become better and more efficient at what you're doing. Once you are an all star projectmanager you will have endless opportunities for advancement and leadership. We are a rapidly growing company and we are focused on helping our team become the best they can be and helping them achieve their life's goals.
In addition to the projectmanagement, you will need to be capable of some light estimating as well. A large portion of this will likely be determining what subcontractors and vendors will be required and getting those priced accordingly. The amount of estimating involved will likely depend on the partictular person's skillset.
REQUIREMENTS
You must be knowledgeable about the building construction process. That could mean years of construction experience or a construction management degree. You will have to be reasonably tech savvy and good at handling a lot of tasks at once. You must be detail oriented and organized.

This $5 million grant will support Augustana in telling authentic and compelling stories of the rich spiritual lives of young adults, from the profound ways that their childhood congregations shaped them, to the faithful questions they are asking of God and the church as they navigate the complexity of college.
Sacred Discoveries will equip student storytellers and produce hundreds of narratives that illuminate God's faithfulness and explore the questions, curiosities, and convictions that shape young adult faith. These stories will be shared widely through podcasts, short films, written publications, live storytelling events, service experiences, and artistic expressions, to inspire congregations and communities across the ELCA and beyond to know and love God.
A robust staffing model of three full-time positions (one project coordinator and two projectmanagers) will ensure faithful administration and effective implementation of the Sacred Discoveries initiative. All positions will report to the Senior University Pastor and Vice President for Mission Integration, who will also serve as the Sacred Discoveries Project Director.

Job Specifications
Education: Bachelors degree in construction management, engineering, or logistics curriculum or equivalent experience.
Experience:5 years of construction-related experience required. A minimum of one year of supervisory experience required. Experience in a crane role is a plus.

Nature and Scope
Job Environment: This position will require time being spent both in the office and in the field bidding and managing crane projects. The ProjectManager will interact on a day-to-day basis with customers, the management team, and the project workforce. This is a deadline-oriented role, where time requirements fluctuate according to work volume. Some travel will be required as dictated by the project opportunities. The ProjectManager position is a full-time, year-round position.
Relationships/Management: The position will interact with all levels of personnel within the company including union and non-union employees, administration, other department managers and support personnel, and will interact with external sources such as engineers, subcontractors, vendors, unions, and governmental entities.
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Estimator/ProjectManager Crane:
Provide leadership to always ensure safe work practices while promoting a strong culture of safety throughout the company.
Maintain good working relationships with all relevant Union locals.
Ability to estimate, bid, and negotiate successfully to secure work for the company.
Create opportunities for the company to be successful through the development of industry relationships and market insight.
Stay abreast of trends and developments such as new equipment, materials, technology, safety and methods and procedures developing in the crane/renewable energy industry.
Monitor and maintain margin levels on each project.
Provide accurate and complete details with the dispatch and field personnel of all project work required to ensure efficient operations and to meet customer expectations.

Ensure timeliness and accuracy of job reporting and controls such as; payroll, invoicing, and payables.
Identify and secure necessary approvals for all changes in project scope, budget, and schedule.
Establish and maintain working relationships with owners, agencies, subcontractors, and engineers to provide world class customer service and develop long-term partnerships with client base.
Ensure all work performed is consistent with industry standards, done in accordance with good engineering practice, meets or exceeds the company quality standards, and compliant with all legal and environmental codes.
