Essential Functions:

Work closely with the client's executives to understand requirements related to security and regulatory compliance and to map those requirements to current security projects; Provide on-going security-related advice/counsel. Evaluate changes to the client's environment for security impact and present findings to management. Develop, implement, follow-up, and review of security strategies, policies, and regulations. Conduct security analysis, audits, training, exercises, meeting, event, and travel security. Supervise and manage employees during the scheduled shift. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT MANAGER OF SAFETY & SECURITY
As an Assistant Manager of Safety and Security you will have the responsibility to interact with personnel at all level and help provide services that encompass consultation, research, coordination, development, implementation, oversite, instruction, review, monitoring, and continued focus on safety related programs while ensuring a safe environment.
In this role you will assist with the Emergency Response Plan, assists the Manager of Safety and Security in the completion of all planned safety and loss control programs scheduled at the Cooperative. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT MANAGER OF SAFETY & SECURITY
- Education: Associates Degree related to the field of safety, loss control, education, business, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Prior experience in a corporate learning environment with a focus on program development, documentation, and reporting. Experience in the Safety and/or Security fields developing and implementing safety and/or security policies, procedures, and investigative processes.
- Knowledge: Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Preferred Cooperative/Electric utility experience preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- Must possess and maintain a current and valid CDL Class A driver's license recognized by the State of Delaware.
- Must be able to obtain OSHA supervisor certification, Certified Loss Control Professional Certification, forklift certification, flagger certification and any other certification mandated by DEC, State of Delaware, or Federal Government to comply with laws and regulations required to complete the job duties of the position.

The SES Assistant Manager is responsible for the overall implementation of Erickson Senior Living's Security and Emergency Services Program, including establishing the Security, Emergency Medical Response, Safety/Life Safety, Emergency Preparedness, and Prevention/Outreach Programs.
