If you don't mind working unusual hours, you could be an assistant shift supervisor. Assistant shift supervisor can work in a range of facilities that have either extended or non-standard hours. Therefore, the ability to be reliable and independently deal with issues that my pop up is a key skill needed for succeeding in this role.
An assistant shift supervisor may be asked to assign tasks to employees, oversee opening and closing of store, factory, or warehouse, schedule employee hours and shifts, and monitor employee work habits to ensure that duties are completed adequately and in a timely fashion. The assistant shift supervisor may also be responsible for verifying inventory is accounted for, making sure daily production and/or sales targets are met, and ensuring the workplace is neat and clean.
You can typically become an assistant shift supervisor if you have a high school diploma or GED. Previous work experience, particularly in management, is sometimes preferred.

Whereas in Hawaii and Massachusetts, they would average $52,216 and $47,467, respectively.
