Checks invoices against purchase orders and credit memos against charge-backs to ensure accuracy. Compiles data for end-of-month reporting. Enters and produces the Daily Sales Report, month-end, and payroll reports.

Job Description
Getting a sales team stoked about selling is a special talent. Sure, good sales teams already show up with loads of ambition, but as AssistantStoreManager II, you'll help them align around creating the best sales experience possible. You'll share your contagious passion for excellence, while keeping up with the performance for the store. Marketing and merchandising programs are part of your purview, from helping develop sales strategies to growing the customer base. And you'll keep a keen eye on the competition, watching pricing trends for peak positioning.
You know the drill with retail schedules - it's all about your flexibility. So, know that working some evenings, weekends, and holidays are a part of the overall picture. What You'll Do:
Along with what we just described; we've put together a list of some of the other things you'll need to do as an AssistantStoreManager II. You'll:
· The ASM II typically supports one of Cox's largest volumes store with high transactions and customer traffic. They will indirectly manage a team typically consisting of 5 to 13 sales representatives and sales operations specialist
· Translate performance goals and objectives for the team as well as individual employees (sets weekly, monthly, and individual sales goals)
· Manage against store revenue to drive acquisition and retention initiatives (monitoring progress, providing feedback, adjusting goals as needed to achieve store targets)
· Provide ongoing training and coaching for sales staff to ensure sales performance objectives are met
· Facilitate weekly sales meetings to ensure sales associates are aligned to corporate initiatives, including customer and product strategies
· Serve as a point of escalation for complicated sales and/or customer disputes
· Ensures staff is properly trained by planning and executing training, identifying opportunities for staff development, and coordinating execution of corporate learning initiatives
· Support troubleshooting for customer technical problems and sales tools related issues
· Assess local competitive assortment and pricing trends and escalates competitive discrepancies to leadership
· Serve as the SME of all product knowledge and agent sales tools
· Assist with hiring, onboarding, developing, and scheduling sales staff
· Assist with daily cash reconciliation and weekly store audits as assigned
· Assist with store and sales floor inventory to ensure alignment with Corporate store design strategy
· Assist with Operational Expenses and Cost Optimization (Headcount, Inventory Budget, Workforce Management, and other store expenses)

Who You Are:
Minimum
· High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience or 5 years' experience in a related field

SAFETY, SECURITY AND LOSS PREVENTION

Ensure that designated staging area is utilized for "Z" racks that are filled with merchandise to be hung on the sales floor. Keep all aisles, corridors and production areas free of clutter and unobstructed to provide building occupants with a clear path to exit building in an emergency situation. Instruct staff to keep the sales floor free of hangers and other trip hazards. Secure sharp objects such as knives in a secured area for display. Ensure that breakable objects are handled carefully and are properly displayed.
Ensure that an adequate supply of protective gloves are available for employees to use when sorting donations and handling potentially hazardous materials.
Ensure that ice melt is spread on all sidewalks and pathways used by customers and staff when weather conditions create potentially slippery conditions prior to the store opening and throughout the business day, as necessary.
Prepare and submit work orders, as necessary, to Director, Warehouse Operations & Logistics, who will approve and assign tasks for maintenance personnel to complete, particularly to address immediate safety concerns.
Ensure that all suspicions or allegations of fraud are reported and investigated accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure that the store is opened/closed daily, as per scheduled hours.
Ensure proper operation of security and safety systems, including but not limited to, proper maintenance and use of door locks, alarms, safe, fire extinguishers and office door; bank deposits made on a nightly basis; thorough and timely completion of incident reports/1st Report of Injury; adherence to all cash management policies and procedures including voids, credits, refunds, etc.; and conducting quarterly fire drills and internal safety inspections, as required.
Ensure that shipping and handling of donated product follows established protocols including proper loading/unloading of trucks, use of seals and documentation on intra-office shipping memos for internal transfer of goods.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the StoreManager in interviewing, hiring, training and directing the activities of store personnel to provide an efficient and effective work force. Maintain positive morale of work force.
May plan, assign and direct work for employees and community service workers, volunteers and work crews, as required by StoreManager. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Agency's policies and applicable state and federal law.
Assist the StoreManager in scheduling employees to ensure adequate coverage to meet production, customer service and safety and security needs of the retail operation.
Ensure proper adherence by store employees to Goodwill of Southern New England policies and procedures, CARF standards and safety/security regulations. Seek assistance in dealing with infractions or unusual situations from supervisor or Human Resources, as appropriate. Report any infractions or unusual situations to the StoreManager.
Complete store reports in an accurate and timely manner.
OTHER DUTIES
Employee will be required to perform bank transactions necessary to store operations, e.g. depositing daily receipts, securing rolled coins or specific denominations of bills, etc., and must have access to transportation for travel to/from designated bank.

StoreManagers effectively manages inventory through ordering and shipment processing. Manages payroll hours to the needs of the business and schedules appropriately. Ensures all store opening and closing procedures are performed correctly. Timely and accurate follow through with Company directives, assignments & projects.
10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Ensures the store environment is safe at all times for associates and customers; all policies and procedures are followed and enforced. Responsible for protecting company assets by ensuring all inventory and cash control procedures are being followed in store as they relate to shrink, damages, banking, etc. Analyzes and utilizes all available reporting, tools and technology. Ensures stores are compliant with all HAZMAT training and execution.
