Head Coach Womens Flag Football SALARY: $61,000 - $65,000 DEPARTMENT: Athletics Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Manhattan University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), is seeking a qualified candidate for a full-time position as Head Coach for Womens Flag Football. The Head Coach will lead all aspects of the NCAA Division I Womens Flag Football program, fostering a competitive environment that emphasizes academic achievement, athletic excellence, and personal growth. RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Direct and coordinate all aspects of the Womens Flag Football program, including practice planning, game strategy, and in-game decision-making.
* Recruit, evaluate, and retain qualified student-athletes consistent with NCAA, conference, and institutional policies.
* Foster a positive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship, discipline, and respect.
* Monitor academic progress of student-athletes to ensure eligibility and support their academic success.
* Manage program budget, travel logistics, and equipment needs in accordance with University policies.
* Coordinate with athletic training, strength & conditioning, equipment, and other support services to promote student-athlete well-being.
* Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional rules and regulations.
* Work with the Athletics Department on fundraising, community outreach, and alumni engagement initiatives.
* Represent Manhattan University and the Athletics Department at professional events, community activities, and institutional functions.
* Oversee camps, clinics, and other events designed to promote the program and the sport.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Intercollegiate Athletics.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
* Demonstrated coaching experience.
* Proven ability to recruit, develop, and mentor student-athletes.
* Strong knowledge of flag football rules, strategies, and techniques.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
* Valid drivers license and eligibility to drive the University's vehicles.
* Current certification in First Aid, CPR, and AED use, or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment.
* Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.

* Previous head coaching experience at the collegiate or professional level.
* Experience competing in flag football at the collegiate or higher level.

As Head of Strategy, Coach Networking you will be responsible for the following duties:
Oversee the strategic direction of the blex Coach networking program that manages ongoing interactions with the coaches to keep them engaged, inspired and appreciated
Brainstorm, plan, and execute all programming initiatives, including but not limited to developing events, meet-ups, marketing and social media related to the program

QUALIFICATIONS:
? Available to work a non-traditional schedule and irregular hours when needed.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coaches assigned athletic activities. Provides opportunities for students to enhance skills,
build positive peer relationships, and develop leadership qualities.
? Actively supervises and evaluates assigned personnel. Cultivates leadership skills.
? Assists with physical education waiver verification when authorized.
? Schedules in season practice/contests with permission from the Athletic Department.
? Communicates actively/timely scores and post game reports to appropriate media as
directed.
? Conducts professionally administered tryouts to select program participants.
? Confirms student medical emergency authorization forms are up to date and readily
available.
? Coordinates off-season activities (e.g. practice schedules, training clinics, etc.) with
permission from the Athletic Department.
? Develops program information sheets for parent/guardian-student meetings.
? Encourages student participation. Monitors the accuracy of internal-external
communications.
? Ensures program activities are self sustaining except when authorized by the
administration.
? Evaluates individual/team performance. Prepares statistics. Develops/refines game
strategies.
? Executes a well-designed program plan. Ensures participants receive appropriate
instruction, support, and opportunities to participate. Provides proactive supervision for
all program activities.
? Identifies strength and conditioning activities best suited for each sport.
? Maintains effective document and records management systems. Prepares timely files.
Monitors reporting deadlines. Complies with district records retention and disposal
policies.
? Maintains orderly work/storage areas.
? Manages program compliance with all OHSAA standards. Ensures athletic fields comply
with conference/league and state athletic association regulations.
? Prepares end of season performance evaluations or all assigned staff.
? Prepares/restores shared program sites.
? Provides opportunities for program participants to critique activities and suggest
enhancements.
? Teaches safety precautions and proper training techniques.
? Verifies equipment is appropriate for the physical development and skill of each
participant.
? Delegates appropriate assignments to members of assigned staff.
? Any additional duties, within reason of the position, as assigned by the Athletic
Department.

Wittenberg University is seeking applications for an Assistant Coach for a new Wrestling program. This individual will assist the head coach in leading all aspects of an NCAA Division III Wrestling program. This is a full-time, 12-month position reporting to the Head Wrestling Coach.
Essential functions include, but are not limited to:
* Assist the head coach with practice and game-day preparation and execution.
* Evaluate, recruit, and graduate student-athletes.
* Provide service to the Institution as assigned by Director of Athletics & Recreation, reporting to the Director of Facilities & Events.
* Conduct student-worker hiring, training, and supervision.
* Maintain and ensure student-athlete academic integrity.
* Interact effectively and appropriately with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, peers, community members, and administrators.
* Adhere to NCAA, conference, departmental, and university policies, procedures, and expectations.
* Perform other relevant duties as assigned such as special projects, programs, developmental activities, etc.
Requirements:
For this position, we require that candidates have a bachelor's degree and at least 1-3 years of previous collegiate coaching or playing experience with the post position, preferably with pole vault events. Candidates must possess excellent organizational and communication skills, be able to interact effectively and appropriately with student-athletes, parents, alumni, faculty, peers, community members, and administrators. Knowledge in the following areas is preferred: Microsoft Office, athletic video and performance review software (i.e. Hudl, Synergy), social media platforms, and recruiting software (i.e. Frontrush).
Travel is required as well as some evening, night, and weekend work.
A valid driver's license is required; must meet required insurance qualifications found in Wittenberg Motor Pool policies and procedures. If license is from out of state, successful candidate will need to obtain a valid Ohio driver's license within 30 days of hire date.

Georgetown Day School opened its doors in 1945 as the first integrated school in a segregated city. Georgetown Day School, a co-ed Pre-K-12 school in Washington, DC, seeks an Assistant Debate Coach to support its nationally recognized debate program. The Assistant Debate Coach will support the program's day-to-day functions and coordinate with the Director of Debate to support students and their families. This part-time position requires 8-10 hour on-campus hours per week and travel for approximately 15 weekends across the entire debate season for the 2025-26 school year.
Responsibilities
Assist in coaching on campus debate practices after school 2-4 days per week, as scheduled with the Director of Debate
Judge and coach students at in-person and/or virtual debate tournaments.
Chaperone students during in-person travel debate tournaments.
Research and prepare materials on new debate topics.
Review student work remotely and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Collaborate closely with the debate coaching team and the HS Office to support program goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree required.
Experience working with students, ideally in a school or extracurricular setting.
A minimum of two years of debate experience; some coaching experience strongly preferred.
