POSITION SUMMARY
:
Coach the seventh and eighth grade track team.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Organize the practice sessions.
Coach the practice sessions and the scheduled meets.
Supervise students continuously while on duty, and require students to behave appropriately.
Assist the High School coaches with the development of the entire 7-12 program.
Distribute, collect and inventory the equipment.
Assist with record keeping and the presentation of awards to the athletes.
Communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff, parents and community members.
Serve as a role model for student athletes in the promotion and practice of sportsmanship, ethical principles and responsible behavior.
Enforce the academic eligibility requirements of the Ohio High School Athletic Association, the Marysville School District and the Marysville Middle School.
Observe all safety and health regulations of the school district.
Follow the Athletic Director's rules and the applicable rules in the middle school student handbook.
Maintain the locker room facilities.
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Other duties may be assigned by the Middle School Athletic Director, the Middle School Principal or the High School Head Track Coach.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Pupil Activity Supervisor Validation.
Ohio teaching certificate/license preferred.
CPR certification with mandatory annual review.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to teach and evaluate the skills of the sport.
Track experience and/or knowledge of track

POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Mens Soccer Coach will report to the Head Soccer Coach (es) and will help
oversee all aspects of operating a successful Intercollegiate Men's Soccer program.

Student-Athlete Skill Instruction:
Assist the Head Coach to teach all basic and advanced skills required in the sport of Soccer
during individual skill sessions, team practices, as well as the strength and conditioning

Assist the Head Coach to develop and implement of sound and safe practice plans for both
individual skill sessions and team practices that successfully prepare the student-athletes with
the fundamentals in the sport of Soccer, as well as the strength and conditioning sessions.
Team and Game Preparation:
Assist the Head Coach to develop a comprehensive and strategic game plan for each
scheduled contest throughout the season. This includes, but is not limited to, the evaluation of
upcoming opponents, preparing a scouting report for the student-athletes and making

Administrative Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Coach to organize and coordinate of a wide variety of administrative tasks

compliance, facility usage, public relations, marketing, style guide, fundraising, community
engagement, fall-winter-spring summer camps and other daily operations for operating a

NCCAA Rules Compliance:
Be responsible for knowledge of, and adherence to all NCCAA rules and regulations pertaining
to but not limited to recruiting, eligibility, and general operation of the program.
