Under general supervision, an assistive technology specialist develops, enforces, and organizes infrastructure strategies. They provide employees and external agencies with guidelines and technical support. And they also serve as the lead worker other staff.
On a daily basis, assistive technology specialists act as the principal person for communication to employees, faculties, and external personnel. They usually answer inquiries and provide assistance related to access to distance education and alternate media services.
