Global Markets Summer Program
Internship opportunities exist within RBCCM for energetic, bright and talented undergraduates and graduates. The Global Markets (GM) Summer Program extends for 10 weeks and provides interns the opportunity to gain in-depth, hands-on experience while working and learning alongside our experienced market professionals. In selecting intern candidates, we look for well-rounded individuals with a track record of outstanding academic achievement, proven technical and analytical skills and a diversity of extracurricular activities. Other essential qualities we look for include strong oral and written communication skills, leadership qualities, initiative and the ability to play a key role as a team member in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. Structured as a rotational program, students will be provided with practical training, hands-on capital markets experience and career-building mentorship throughout the ten-week program. There are opportunities across product groups and markets roles to suit the interests of driven and focused students. Participating businesses include Global Equities, Fixed Income and Currencies & Commodities.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Summer analysts help analyze markets, monitor trading services, and develop new products that will help clients maximize their market performance across a spectrum of asset classes. While responsibilities and projects will vary across desks, the rotational program experiences include:
Analyzing and developing trade ideas in equity and fixed income products
Aggregating sector/market news flow
Updating Corporate and Analyst marketing data
Providing client feedback reports and brainstorm solutions
Engineering tools and streamline processes to aid efficiency
Analyzing data to form summaries of overall changes in market positions
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Top grades in a four-year US college or university program and entering the final year upon completion of the program
Basic market knowledge and a demonstrated keen interest in capital markets
Strong research abilities and excellent analytical and communication skills
Extremely motivated and able to take initiative in order to identify ways to add value and improve practices
Demonstrated problem-solving skills, business sense and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in high pressure environments
Proficient with the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Technical knowledge of programming/coding languages preferred

The internship requires a student to be enrolled in an undergraduate/graduate degree, preferably in finance, economics, mathematics, statistics or other technical field and knowledge of fixed income securities, general market principals, spreadsheet and database applications, and accounting principles.We are looking for someone to work 20 hours per week starting ASAP. Compensation is $25.00 per hour.

Day to Day:
We are looking for a Chargebacks & Rebates Analyst to join one of our large generic pharmaceutical organizations in the Florham Park, NJ, area. We do not need an individual who is a Gross-To-Net Subject Matter Expert, but an individual with chargebacks & rebates experience (preferably someone with iContracts experience). This role will focus on managing and enhancing gross-to-net analytics, reporting, and forecasting. The consultant will work cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, and Commercial teams to ensure deductions and accruals are accurate, well-documented, and timely. Gross-to-Net Accruals & Analysis, including supporting the monthly close process by reviewing, validating, and booking GTN accruals (e.g., chargebacks, rebates, admin fees, returns, and Medicaid).
*This position is hybrid, 3 days onsite per week in Florham Park, NJ.

About the role
StepStone seeks motivated undergraduates graduating between December 2026 and June 2027 to join our SIRA team as Summer Analysts. This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain insights into the private equity industry. As a Summer Analyst, you will learn about various sectors such as transportation, telecommunications, utilities, power, energy, logistics, renewables, social projects, sustainability, and impact investing. Additionally, you will be exposed to diverse companies, assets, and capital structures, providing you with a comprehensive understanding of infrastructure investments.
What you'll do
As a Summer Analyst, you'll work collaboratively to conduct due diligence on opportunities within SIRA's investment verticals, including infrastructure fund investments, co-investments, and secondaries. You will also prepare and present recommendations with the investment team to SIRA's Investment Committee.
Key responsibilities
Conduct thorough analysis and due diligence on co-investment opportunities, as well as primary and secondary transactions in private equity, specifically within the infrastructure, agriculture, and natural resources sectors
Perform financial modeling and analytical tasks including creating or modifying financial models, analyzing financial statements and forecasts, preparing valuation bridges, running discounted cash flow analyses, comparing public companies, and conducting sensitivity/scenario analyses
Develop and present a well-constructed argument regarding investment decisions, effectively communicating these arguments in written materials such as Microsoft Word documents and PowerPoint presentations
Interpret financial analyses prepared by target fund managers, including assessment of investment track records and financial statements; conduct valuation analyses on private companies or privately-owned assets using various methods, including discounted cash flow and transaction comparables
Perform market research utilizing publicly available information and proprietary databases to identify, quantify, and analyze trends across various sectors

Being a banker within Fixed Income Origination is unique as you provide both product expertise and industry coverage to clients across different countries and currencies.
As an Origination Summer Analyst you will spend your time:
Developing and preserving complex financial models
Creating pitch books and other client materials

Supporting live deals and major transactions

There are a few groups, outlined below, within Origination that participate in the internship program. You will be placed with one group for the duration of the internship.
• Securitization (Term ABS & Conduit Finance) is a top-5 originator across the industry and offers attractive financing alternatives for companies that have current funding and liquidity needs. We work with clients to identify and convert future income streams - such as auto receivables, student loans and credit card receivables - into tradeable securities. We have extensive experience covering a wide range of traditional and non-traditional assets, as well as delivering innovative solutions and proprietary analytics.
• Risk Solutions Group (RSG) is a multi-asset class private side sales team that advises its client base on hedging their market exposures through derivatives (Rates, FX, Commodities). Working in close coordination with our Banking, DCM, Securitization, and Trading colleagues we'll propose solutions to alleviate the risks that arise from our client's capital market transactions (i.e. bond issuance, M&A acquisitions), or as a function of their day-to-day business.
